Dogs love it, itching is gone
Iโm not personally vegetarian or vegan and my dogs still get meat-based treats but I had to go looking for foods that were hypoallergenic. One of my dogs is a Great Pyrenees mix and no matter what I fed her sheโd be itchy. I tried omega supplements, which made her coat super shiny but didnโt stop the itching, and I had the vet do a Cytopoint shot which works like a champ but I didnโt want her to be on meds for the sake of it, plus it works out very expensive every 5 weeks. So, I did some looking around and decided to give V-Dog a try. Upon opening the bag I was skeptical because it smells very โgreenโ. I thought my dogs wouldnโt eat it but I was completely wrong. They devoured it, especially my Basset mix. Within 2 weeks all of the itching was gone, the dogs no longer have gas, and their stools are small and they donโt stink anymore. My vet knows what Iโm feeding them and she has no concerns. Itโs definitely not an inexpensive food but you get what you pay for. When I adopted my pups I committed to giving them the best life I could and the food they eat is an integral part of that.

Both Dogs Thriving and Love VDog!
I have 2 dogs. One is a 14 year old Siberian Husky and the other is a 7 year old Red Tick Hound mix. For years they have both been eating a popular commercial brand of dog food. I've always made it a point to periodically check the ingredients label and I do try to keep up with the latest "OMG's" in pet food because let's face it, it isn't the cleanest food industry out there. The nastiness of the commercial industry and the origin of a lot of commercial dog food ingredients is the reason why we decided to make the switch over to VDog. One of the first things that I noticed about the food when I opened the bag was the smell. It's not a bad smell at all but it's definitely not the same as the old food that they were eating. It doesn't smell like fake meat flavoring, it of course has a very veggie smell to it. To me it's like a cross between sweet potato and peas which once you read the ingredient list, it makes sense. The second thing is that the bag is recyclable. Third is that the kibble is green which took me a bit to get used to seeing. They have now been on this dog food for over 2 months. I do supplement the Red Tick Hound with cooked chicken breast once or twice a week, but the Husky is strictly VDog because after we made the switch, whenever she is given the chicken breast she ends up with an upset stomach and things get smelly and ugly really quick so she is technically a vegan dog now. Both dogs love this food and I don't have to bribe either one of them to eat it with a gravy over the top like I used to have to do with their old food. Now that I think back, me having to do that should have been a red flag for me. I wanted to provide them with a better quality food to keep them both healthier and around for as long as possible. I never dreamed that the Husky would show the improvements that she has. Older dogs have a tendency to start having hip problems and unfortunately that is one of her problems. She did a lot of laying around with very little attempts at running and playing until the past couple of weeks. Recently I have been having to try and wind her down again like I did years ago. Her mood has obviously improved too, she looks and acts a lot happier, which is a very positive change that I'm really glad to see. The Red Tick Hound has shown some changes too. His breath oddly enough doesn't smell anymore and his coat is sleek and shiny again. We had noticed that his fur had become wiry and scratchy and with a better quality diet, that changed. Yes, the food price point is higher but you are paying for quality ingredients which in turn will lead to a healthier dog in the long run. I'm very thankful for VDog and will continue to feed it to my dogs and recommend it to others.

My dog eats it 2 times a day
I have been giving my senior pit bull V-Dog for a year. When I adopted her a year ago, she was considered "hospice" because of some tumors and age. She has only had one runny bowel in a whole year, hips are better and the tumors are stable (one shrunk). I love V-Dog kibble! I mix it with some canned vegan dog food, blueberries, carrots, and potatoes.

Great dog food for all ages!
Vdog is a great product. We use to order it directly from Vdog but the delivery got alittle unpredictable so we just started ordering it from Amazon. It's a few dollars more but worth knowing you are going to get it most likely when we need it.

Senior Doggie LOVES V-Dog Kibbles! (Mini *and* Regular Kibbles)
Because our senior doggie is a small breed (Maltese), we first tried the V-Dog Mini Kibbles, but soon thereafter, the price has now gotten so HIGH (increased by a LOT), so we switched to the larger regular V-Dog Kibble size contained in the largest bag in order to save money per ounce... At first, we added some hot water to the larger kibble to soften it up, but senior doggie began having some diarrhea, so we stopped that (for now at least) and just began feeding the larger kibble, as is, along with offering lots of plain cold water next to the feeding dish... Senior doggie takes a little while longer to eat through the larger kibble, but thankfully, that's actually OK and even preferred since it's better for overall digestion to eat slower... Senior doggie really LOVES it so much, and ends up eating ALL of it, or leaving only small fragments behind.... Most days, senior doggie often barks (even howls) whenever hungry again later on in the late afternoon to early evening for her next V-Dog Kibble meal!... [NOTE TO SELLER: Because senior doggie is a small breed, we would have so LOVED to purchase a LARGER bag of V-Dog *MINI* Kibbles (and hopefully also offered at a similarly reasonable price) ~~HINT, HINT, V-Dog Founder/Staff :) ~~ Thank you for a wonderful product!]
