Element Gaming Palladium Keyboard

I've owned this keyboard for almost a year now and it's good for the price. The keyboard looks good and the elevated key caps make it very easy to clean. One thing you notice if you pick the keyboard up is how heavy the item is which seems to help keep the noise down when typing. The keys are double shot and the LED light feeds through them quite nicely. The durability of the keys themselves seem fine. The LED lighting can be set to different colours and different brightness levels. You can also switch off the lighting if you don't like it or you are using it in an office environment.So why only have I only given three stars? The blue number capslock, numlock and scrolllock indicators don't match the keyboard well and look out of place. Additionally, I keep the numlock on all the time and the brightness of the LED has faded in comparison to the other two when you turn them on. If you type on the keyboard a lot you will find that while the feel is reasonable, but just a touch on the mushy side. Laying down the keyboard flat with the risers folded in there's still an angle and with the height of the keys you can get RSI unless you lift your hands constantly so you will most likely need an additional rest.Finally one additional note. Which I won't take stars off for since I knew this from the beginning. This is an American layout keyboard with UK layout printed onto it. If you use Windows to map the keys to UK layout it makes typing '\' and '|' difficult without the use of the function key or right alt under Windows 10. If you are a coder or sysadmin you might need to use these a lot. Additionally depending if you use remote desktop, some older versions of Windows don't transmit these characters correctly without some fiddling.

I bought this when it was on sale for £19.99. I wasn't going to be impressed with it, that's for sure BUT I AM!Here are the bad points:- Return/Enter key is of equal height to all the other keys so it takes getting used to when hitting the button without looking. If the key was larger it would be easier to find.- LED's are coloured but you cannot change them individually or in a group, you can only change the whole keyboard.- The yellow colour layout looks bad, it's not a proper yellow and the space bar LED when yellow actually looks light green!- The 3 indicators on the right on top the numerical keypad are to show if your lock keys are on, but again, because the LED's all light the same colour, it looks tacky and a waste of space, they could have easily made them smaller and perhaps give more space to important keys!- Because it's frame is metal, it COULD interfere with other peripherals/devices such as a wireless mouse, Wifi, etc. But this is not for certain, but has happened in the past with metal objects interfering with my Wifi router.Overall, 7/10 but if you get in cheap like I did for £19.99, then I would give it an 8/10!

For £20 this keyboard is excellent value. They keys are membrane, but feel very nice to use. Very low noise and good travel.The backlight feature is nice, and can be turned off or pulse through the colours is you wish.The keyboard is very sturdy and feels like its built very well, the brushed aluminium is a nice touch. The included fn key means you get volume controls too!A few keys are a bit odd, the enter is American style (Not full height), the Pipe | can be accessed via various keyboard commands depending on OS and keyboard layout setup on your computer.For £20, you'd be hard pushed to find another keyboard of this quality.

Arrived on timeWorking as expectedSome of the keys configured differently for normal typing use but once you master the shortcut's the keyboard works well.I like the different light options especially useful in the evening with low light.

One of the best keyboards I've ever had. The "Enter" button was annoying for the first 2 weeks, now i'm used to it and if this keyboard ever "dies" I'll get the same one.

Excellent stuff and super-fast delivery.This keyboard is great with the exception of the American style symbols,but not a deal breaker.Too cool to compplain :)

great value keyboard, feels great to type on, lights look incredible. a bigger "return" key would be preferable if I was being picky, but that's not for everyone.

Very nice design and holds up well against aggressive gaming styles :) feels solid.
