FURminator De-Shedding Tool for Dogs

Fantastic for removing shed hair from a 5kg pomeranian chihuahua cross. Used after brushing and combing and still pulls a tennis ball sized ball of fur out. Well tolerated as long as you don't spend too long in one place. I prefer using a smaller defurminator so I can have precise control over where I'm using it and can more easily get into smaller areas.

Bought to try to solve problem with excess hair on our Shelti. The usual tools did not work. I found this and was amazed how good it was at removing the under hair coat on the dog. Simple to use (apart from the dog wont stand still.....) removes hair with ease by combing through. I filled a Supermarket bag in 30mins with dog hair.The dog loved it no running away just moving leg to leg.I also ordered a Short Hair version for our smooth coat Chihuahua and same effect.Brilliant.

I purchased the smallest size furminator for my lion head rabbits but it isn’t suitable for their fur. Needs to be used on animals with shorter coarser fur.

I wish I'd gone for the size up. My girl is in the range for the toy size however it would of been better and much easier if it had been a touch larger! The tool works well and does remove a lot of the dead undercoat, however it does remove some of the undercoat which is still alive.

I have a long haired Chihuahua and she shed…a lot. Her hair was everywhere she slept, the sofa, my bed, and her doggy bed. I use the FURminator once a week (she acts like I'm just petting her) and now I hardly find any hair of hers on the furniture.
