Excellent little heater.
I waited a little while to write this review because I wanted to use the heater and see how it holds up. I was hesitant to purchase this heater since it costs more than most heaters the same size and I am so glad that I did. I’m using it for some young Borneo Loaches and need consistent water temperature and being able to actually see what the water temperature is without using a separate thermometer makes things so much easier (but yes, I have tested it against a separate thermometer and it is spot on!). It is well made and very compact so you can keep it out of view if wanted/needed. The suction cups that come with it are strong little buggers and keep the heater wherever you want it. I’m a fan.

Great heater!
Great for small tanks. Digital temp display and controls help to control water temperature. I used several for betta tanks.

Tested with a Thermometer — Runs About 2° High
I spent hours researching before choosing a heater for my 5-gallon tank with baby GloFish, and this is the one I ended up going with. So far, I’m really happy with it.One of the biggest reasons I chose this model is the adjustable temperature. It has a wide range (59°F–93°F), which gives much more control compared to preset heaters. That’s especially important in smaller tanks where temperature can fluctuate more quickly. The digital display is a huge plus, but I still tested it with a separate thermometer to check accuracy. I found that it runs about 2°F higher than the set temperature (for example, set to 70°F → reads about 72°F on a separate thermometer). Once I adjusted for that difference, it held temperature consistently.Installation took seconds — it secures easily with suction cups and stays in place without shifting. It’s also a good size for a 5-gallon tank and doesn’t feel bulky or intrusive. The controls are simple as well. You just press the button to cycle through temperatures, and you can hold it for 3 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. One thing I really appreciate is that it has built-in safety indicators on the display:E1 = heater shuts off if it’s out of the waterHH = temperature is too high (over 95°F)Both are helpful safeguards and easy to correct — just fully submerge the heater or allow the temperature to come back down. It’s also recommended to keep the heater from directly touching the bottom of the tank, which is something to keep in mind during setup.Overall, this has been a solid, easy-to-use heater that gives me more control and peace of mind. Just be aware of the slight temperature offset and adjust accordingly.I will update if anything changes with longer use!⏩️Fast forward:It has been 2 weeks of constant use (24/7) and I have had great results. The thermometer has kept my tank at a consistent temperature without any unwanted fluctuations. It still runs about 2° higher, but has not showed any signs of going higher or lower than that.⭐️I included a setup video as well as photos + comparison temperature readings

Easy set up
Have Betta in 4 gallon tank who is very happy at 78/80* had a mini 10w heater with a USB connection to a power brick. It kept the temp fine but I found the charger getting far too hot,Concerned there might be a melt down, fire during the night. So I ordered this one to replace it for safety. This fits well in the 4 gallon and keeping the temp steady 79/80.Set up using the digital program was simple and bright enough to read at any time.Hopefully it has a long lifespan with no problems.Pleased with my purchase.

Small but mighty
Needed to purchase a small heater for a small rescue tank for a betta. It was easy to set up, and I appreciate that it shows you what the tank is set at and what the tank is reading too. Keeps temp consistent by 1 degree. It took some time to figure out what the blue light / red light / no light mean, but it wasn’t difficult to figure out.

Great little thermometer for a small/nano tank
This is the perfect size for our little nano tank. We purchased another that was just a little turn dial and a bit larger box so it didn’t work in the small tank. Appears to be made very well and has a suction cup to prevent it from floating up, however the instructions show it could float and be ok as long as it isn’t laying along the bottom of the tank. Super simple set up- you take it out of the box, adjust to the temperature you want, set it in the tank and done. It took me a second to realize the temperature button has to cycle all the way through when setting, you can’t go down and up- one way only.

Excellent Performance and Value for the Price
I’m extremely satisfied with this water heater. It’s the perfect size and does an excellent job heating the tank efficiently and consistently. The heater shuts off automatically when the set temperature is reach making it safe for the fish. The only improvement I would suggest is the ability to calibrate the thermometer, as it appears to be off by a few degrees. That said, considering the price point, this is a minor trade-off and doesn’t take away from the overall performance.Overall, a great value and a solid choice.

Fluval LIV bowl heater
I got this for a fluval liv and it’s perfect!

It works well but………
This isn’t a bad heater. It heats the water at a steady pace, stays at a consistent temperature and is easy to program. However, it is a pain to get to suction onto the glass. The suction cups don’t suction well, so i needed to use a bit of force to get it to stick. But i wouldn’t use this 10w heater in anything smaller than a 5g aquarium because while it is short, it’s surprisingly thick and bulky. So it takes up a decent amount of swimming space.
