These are excellent oven gloves. They are medium to large sized, about right for the average man, but have also been perfectly usable by a woman with somewhat smaller hands. The silicone hand part comes down to the wrist, and then there is a stiffish fabric extension piece, quite wide, which covers most of the forearms They come about two thirds of the way from the wrist to the elbow. The lining is a fairly thick fabric of some sort, which, should you ever need to wash them, can be pulled out to dry.They seem to be completely heat resistant. A ceramic casserole, for instance, taken out of the oven at 200C and held for ten or 15 seconds does not feel at all warm. The long cuffs protect the arms when taking things out or putting them back on to an oven shelf. Burns while doing this can be very nasty, they are small but damage tissue quite badly and go deep and take a long time to heal.The silicone finger part is a little bit clumsy - the material is fairly thick and it has the lining inside as well, so the fingers are fairly big in them. But the fact that you have all five fingers working independently makes it a lot easier to use and grasp than the usual oven mits, and of course being silicone, it grips very well.i don't think you will get better protection and usability than this, at any price. They look like they will last indefinitely, and they protect the most exposed part of the arm without getting in the way of what you are doing.

They are a good product...well made. My four star rating was purely because they are more bulky than I anticipated. Perhaps I'm just small. Good protection but I don't 'feel in control ' of what I'm lifting sometimes

Great product and I love the fact that they come a long way up the wrists. I found them perfect but my husband said he could feel some heat through them. I noticed that he had them on with the logo on the palm instead of the top of the hand so maybe they are more heat resistant on the side without the logo.I'm afraid I have to re-rate these gloves. My husband was right, the heat does come through. I had the oven set to 200c so not excessive and while holding the tray I felt the heat coming through. Therefore I do not think these gloves are fit for purpose. I dont suppose I can return them now as I have used them.

Does the job however there could be more finger room for better mobility

I have had loads of different oven gloves over the yearsBut these are the best I’ve ever had the grip is brilliant and with them bring a bit longer I now don’t worry of catching my wrists on the hot shelvesAnd they are so easy to use I have small hands and still find them to be the bestThey are so much easier to keep cleanWin win all the wayGreat delivery too

Great product.However they take a few days to dry which isn't great when I need to wash them a lot.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas as he doesn't like the pretty ones I have! He says that they are exactly what he was looking for; the gloves give a very good, secure grip. He is looking forward to using them with the BBQ when the weather is warmer. Good value for money and delivery was sooner than expected.
