My chiropractor recommended this for my issues. She warned me that it's not the cheapest, but that it's the best. I find it very very effective. For those of us who have the gene where we can't produce our own DAO enzyme, this is nothing short of a life saver. Like literally I would get sick from my own histamine if I had an encounter with an allergen. Now I just digest my own defensive histamine and it doesn't build up. Love my life without the sniffles. Take one after dinner and that's it. Fabulous product.

Seeking Health products have been a lifesaver for me the past two months! Ever since I first discovered them after experiencing an acute allergic event (that made my body go haywire and gave me histamine intolerance to foods for the first time in my life)—Seeking Health has been one of the very few brands that NEVER gave me any histamine flares but only supported my recovery as I worked to get my health back on track. I started with the ProBiota, then added in the Magnesium and Histamine Nutrients. I know that if I buy a Seeking Health product, it will be high quality and never cause a histamine flare. These products, along with an L Glutamine, have helped me really turn a corner. Crossing fingers I will be back to my normal self with a few more weeks. So far, so good! It may be a bit early, but I’m VERY excited. Other probiotic powders caused me to breakout in horrible acne, and gave me debilitating nausea with pounding headaches. I cant eat fermented foods/high histamine foods, and unfortunately a lot of common probiotic supplements have strains that are either high histamine or histamine liberators. I am not diagnosed with anything, but let’s just say I’m acutely aware of how my body reacts to certain foods/supplements. I took 2 of these capsules per day with prebiotic-rich/ high fiber foods, and have been for a week now. I am happy to say that nothing happened. No weird flushing or anything I mentioned above. I will be checking in down the road with an update. I’m excited as I don’t feel that horrible lip itch when I eat leftovers now! If you’re histamine sensitive like me, give these a try! I empty the capsules into water, mix, and drink.

Over the past year or so, I have been noticing really bad environmental allergies and food sensitivities even though I’ve been getting allergy shots for years. I started seeing a naturopathic doctor last year who put me on a personalized diet plan, but I was still having issues. I heard about histamine intolerance and when I did some research, I noticed that I had a lot of the symptoms. After researching I began taking quercetin (which I’m sure helps but I didnt notice significant changes). I also heard about histamine blockers and histamine probiotics. After a search on Amazon, I found multiple options, but went with this one because it’s a one-a-day supplement and I use the vitamin D in this brand. I struggle with swallowing capsules so I definitely wasn’t getting anything that required multiple pills a day. I’ve been taking this probiotic for about 2 weeks now. When I first started taking it, I noticed a lot of nausea. Even though I was experiencing nausea, I really didn’t want to stop taking it because it was doing what it was supposed to do. I wasn’t waking up with a headache, cough, and runny nose anymore. I decided to start taking it at bedtime. It helped but I was still getting nauseated. What ultimately worked is opening up the pill and taking it with a little bit of juice. Apparently my body cannot handle the full dose going directly to my digestive system. I am so thankful I found these probiotics because I believe that enjoying all types of foods are one of the joys of life.

This probiotic has been a game changer for me. I have been dealing with histamine and oxalate issues, and this has been helping! I need to take two a day, not just one, but they do get expensive doing that! But they are worth it.

Though I can not say for sure, this particular product -Histaminx- may have contributed to a raging UTI. I actually like other products that Seeking Health puts out. In fact I had been using their other Probiota Bifido with good results for many months. (I do have histamine issues). It is very expensive though-$50 for 60 caps. I noticed back in November, when I needed to re-order, that they offered this other product and it was $17 cheaper, so I thought I would give it a try. It seemed to be good at keeping me regular, so I thought great! I found something that works as well for $17 less, and forgot about it. Shortly thereafter, I started getting UTI symptoms for the 1st time since my early 20's -I'm 55 now so it's been a very long time. I went almost mad trying to clear up this UTI. Pure Cranberry, Echinacea/Goldenseal , Uva Ursi, D-Mannose, Vitamin C, very clean living etc, etc. It just kept coming back. I am on a very healthy anti-inflammatory diet so I could not figure out what or why I was plagued with these issues. I am someone who NEVER gets sick. I have been with my boyfriend for some time, without any issues in this department, so I was pretty certain it was not sex related. I started doing more and more research online in the last few days and weeks as it was starting to cause extreme anxiety as well as rejecting my sweetheart. When I first read how important it was to be on a good probiotic for UTI's I thought, OK, check. After all I had been on this expensive brand for a while, so it must be something else. I had actually forgotten that I switched to a different one a couple months ago. My symptoms have been getting worse with each passing day. A lightbulb finally went off over my head last week, as I finally remembered that I had made this switch. Also, it was the only change I had made in my supplements. I ordered the $50 bifido supplement from the same company via Amazon. I started back on it a few days ago, and all my symptoms have been fading away, more and more with each passing hour.. As I mentioned, I have no real proof that this product caused such an imbalance in my delicate system so as to cause such an awful reaction. And I do like the other product this company puts out, but I wanted to document this in case any one else experiences it, especially ladies. As others mentioned, probiotics work differently for everyone, and this may be the holy grail for someone else, but it was a nightmare for me.
