"Red Tape' made me laugh 'til I cried.
Absolutely loved this - laugh out loud on every page - they've nailed this one, totally.Of the 'Ladybird for Grown Ups' collection, this one is definitely one of the funniest. If you only get a couple of these books, this is a must have. The other, in my opinion, is "The Shed."Hilarious.

another amuing 'take' on modern life.... enjoyable ''occasional'' series.
This series should have found its way into doctor/dentist's waiting rooms if not superceded by he current plague.....

Soothing, but quite dangerous in the wrong hands.
Bought for a retiring policewoman (that is 'leaving', rather than 'modest'), this is just the ticket(s) for understanding civilian life in the UK in the 21st century.I highly recommended it for anyone leaving a bureaucracy-free organisation after many years, and entering the modern world. In fact it should be considered an essential, along with a good supply powerful tranquillizers, and probably gin. Unfortunately such readers are few and far between, but I still expect the publishers will sell several copies, dozens possibly. One note of caution though: it is very important to un-tick the box on page 87(b) and mail in both the orange and green cards (but NOT the red one), that have been helpfully supplied by the publishers. This avoids any misunderstandings about which recycling bin collections happen on which days in 2019, and prevents unwanted Readers Digests arriving by courier.Unfortunately we sent the red card in as well, and now cannot get our Readers Digests taken away as the council tells us our recycling schedule is no longer synchronised with the blue days on the calendar. You have been warned (in a small box on p. 10)...

Very funny gift for someone who gets caught up in Red Tape at work!
Anyone that works in an environment where it takes an age to get anything 'approved' would find this funny. Bought as a gift for someone who doesn't really like to read a long book who found it easy to dabble into. They found it very funny (I had a peek - so did I!)

Brilliant.Bang on at laughing at all those niggly irritating things in modern life that make it not so fun.The format and styling are sublime.Best avoided if you are a bureaucrat.I'm going to buy others in the series.

So trueโฆ.
Bought as a joke for my Sister in the British Civil Service which consume more Red Tape than the rest of world put together, whilst being as efficient as an old filament light bulb.

Bought for a friend as gift .. gave them a good laugh just what was needed

Very very funny.
Really enjoyed reading the book, all these books offer such a good slanted view of the topic at hand and I find myself living mamy of the situations daily.

Some great pictures and you'll recognize yourself and/or your colleagues here
