Ive used this for multiple terrariums and aquariums. It dries in about 2 days, you can tell once the vinegar smell goes away. It works just as well as the expensive stuff. Super easy with a gun. I highly recommend this case. Always buy more than you think you need!

I'm just a DIY homeowner with marginal skills, and I dread it when I have to recaulk my shower every few years. I'm never sure how it's going to look when I get finished. The last "clear" product I used claimed that it would be white on application and then turn transparent as it cures. Half of it never lost its whiteness. This Akfix caulk comes out clear and transparent and dries beautifully, retaining its clarity. It's easy to apply with a caulk gun, and very easy to smooth out with your finger. It just works and looks great. I highly recommend it.

My husband was the first to use this silicone, so he wrote this up: Each tube has a threaded nipple which has a very small depression in the center. The application nozzle hangs from a piece of plastic attached to the nipple, which acts as a hinge when threading the nozzle onto the tube. I really appreciate the design because it makes the tubes easier to store than traditional caulking. The first time I used it, I poked a hole in the center of the depression but only about as wide, so it was very small. I soon discovered that this was a mistake. I should have either made the hole bigger or cut the tapered portion of the nipple off entirely. The opening was so constricted that the caulking gun, and therefore my grip, had very tough time getting the silicone out in any real quantity. Once it started coming out, though, it was free-flowing, just very narrow. The silicone sets up fairly quickly Into a flexible rubber-like consistency. I used it to weather seal some cracks around the house. I also plan to use it a lot to make some moldable rubber (Mixed with cornstarch, called oogoo) for repairs and prop building. If you tend to go through silicone regularly, the 12 pack is a good way to go. All in all, I think this is a great product and would certainly recommend it.

Clear silicone sealant is one of my favorite adhesives/sealants for many different uses. But the common silicone products emit a strong odor. What makes this Akfix 905N silicone unique is the neutral odor - it's better for use indoors when people are sensitive to the smell. Most the time it's not an issue because I'm applying a small amount anyway, but if you have a large indoor job, it's safer to go with this formula to avoid odor complaints.

I ordered the 12 pack clear silicone, and will absolutely be ordering again. The tube has a fold away attached nozzle with a resealable cap. It flows well and seals quickly. So far it has been used to seal the gaps in an outdoor kitchen countertop for waterproofing, to seal a faucet to the kitchen counter, and to fill some air gaps in a window. It is a little milky when completely dry, but definitely clearer than a lot of other products out there. Highly recommend!

I applied it in my bath/shower where the grout was pulling away from the tile to keep water out. It wasn't as thick as I expected but the part I actually got squeezed into the cracks seems to be staying with minimal running. Time will tell. 3 stars for now.

The silicone sealant was easy to work with and smoothed very well with just my finger. Also very easy to wipe clean. Easy to work with, easy clean-up, good viscosity and clear which is what I was looking for.
