Almost (but not quite) a perfect sunscreen!
Pros: Very moisturising, seems to last all day. The cream has lovely thick consistency (which a little goes a long way) and the lip balm is great and doesn’t irritate my lips at all. I work outdoors all day in British sun so this is a must and I wear it under my makeup. I also have found that it stops cold sores being triggered by the sunshine, iv not had any since using this which is simply fantastic. Cons: After continued use I have seen increased acne type spots on my face, the deep cystic type spots and I don’t know if it’s related to this product or not. Also, like all sunscreen you need to avoid getting this in your eyes as it does sting. I recommend using a finishing powder to stop it sliding around. Despite this I have continued to use this product as it is superior to any other I have tried and the pros outweigh the cons for me. I have not noticed any sun burn or damage getting through this and my skin feels protected.

My go to skiing suncream
Yes this is slightly expensive suncream, but it's definitely cheaper than not having it and buying it in resort. I was recommended to buy a lip balm and suncream duo for my trip skiing after finding that I would get slightly burnt as my sunscreen would wear off during the day. I have seen these before and always thought that they might be a select gimmick and not as effective as I hope. However this product is perfect for those long days skiing. I found the small size of this product really makes it easy just to sit in your pocket or I have seen people (not myself) punch a hole at the end and put a piece of string around it to tie into their pockets that it's always available. I find myself reapplying the lip balm regularly especially when sitting down on a lift and also being able to quickly apply the suncream in a hurry before heading down the slopes. My only criticism of this product is extremely minor and something that I don't have a solution for. It is that if you were using the suncream section, you have to totally unscrew the lip balm and put it somewhere whilst you were applying the suncream but if you're trying to do this on a lift or whilst still in your skis, it can be a little bit fiddly. this is extreme minor and definitely would not put me off buying this product. I absolutely love it and will continue to buy this product for each ski trip that I go on.

So far impressed
As a now 50 year old guy I use sunscreen daily, spf 30 when I’m just pottering about and spf 50 when I go out hiking and cycling. I normally don’t like many European sunscreens as they’re thick, gloopy and greasy, get clogged in my beard and just make my face look like an oil slick, especially spf 50. I’ve used Korean and Japanese sunscreens for around two years now as they’re really nice and easy to use and feel like nothing on the skin. Love them. However, not many are sweatproof and I sweat when I’m out doing sports so read the reviews on this and thought I’ll give it a try. I only got the 20ml with the lip balm attached ( how convenient is that 👏🏻) anyhow it’s arrived today so I thought I’d try it and rest for heavy, greasy clogging and to my surprise, here’s absolutely none. I’m shooketh 😂 this spreads really easy even though it’s a little thick but it’s so easy to spread and sinks in after a few seconds. Felt a little tacky but only for about 2 minutes then it was gone, face feels great and it sticky, there’s a slight scent to it which I didn’t realise as I normally don’t do scented but it’s not offensive and not that strong at all and actually smells quite nice. Just the burn test now of course and I should get a good idea of how it performs as it’s really hot and sunny today in the UK. I’ll report back and alter my review if any of that changes but so far. This is one of the best spf50s that’s not Korean I’ve used in terms of how it feels. If it performs as good then I will even purchase a full size one. Well done guys, you hit the nail with this one in terms of texture and usability 👏🏻👏🏻

Perfect for beach holiday too!
I usually buy the normal piz buin face sun screen. I found almost impossible to track down when I did find online it cost £20 ! I spotted this on Amazon at £6... Read reviews ..which all recommended for ⛷️ sking etc. Couldn't find anyone who used for summer hols! I thought I would try it on trip to Egypt . 40 degrees 🌞 It was fabulous..worked a treat. You only need apply a small amount..it absorbs quickly into the skin..no greasiness. Best of all it doesn't run into your eyes!... result protected face with a great tan!!... definitely recommend for a sunny holiday 😎 👌 👍

UPDATED REVIEW: Make sure you know the lip balm is SPF30
UPDATE: I've updated my star rating from 1* to 5* as Piz Buin have now updated their packaging to reflect that the lip balm is SPF 30 (previously it implied it was all SPF 50+). Aside from the old misleading packaging, this is a decent product and I liked it. See my original review below. ORIGINAL REVIEW: TITLE: MISLEADING INFO - LIP PROTECTOR IS NOT SPF 50 - BE WARNED. BODY: I am a big fan of Piz Buin ordinarily, and usetheir suncream regularly. I bought this as I needed for medical reasons some strong lip protector of SPF 50 for a holiday in the Mediterranean. The title and the description on Amazon , AND the front of the item packaging only mention SPF 50+, so you would reasonably assume that what you're paying for is SPF 50 or higher, particularly when considering the price... HOWEVER, only when reading the small print on the back do you finally find out that THE LIP PROTECTOR IS ONLY SPF 30. This would explain why other users, myself included, get burned lips, as we were expecting twice the level of protection we were being (mis)sold. As per the application of the lip protector, I quite liked it, though it is a bit broader than a regular lib balm tube. It doesn't twist up/down - The main tube is the sun cream, so you don't actually get a huge amount of lip balm compared to a regular dedicated tube. It is somewhat butterscotchy which I quite liked. The sun cream is pretty odourless and tasteless. I tried rubbing some on the lip protector to "up the SPF", but this did not work well. Hiding the lower lip protector's SPF in the small print on the back of the box is very poor practice. All other info just stating SPF 50+ is therefore misleading and inaccurate, and dangerous practice for sun protection products. I will be requesting a refund from Amazon, and that they update the listing to reflect the true SPF ratings. I will then be looking at contacting Piz Buin and the relevant UK consumer protection agencies to strongly suggest that this misleading packaging is updated.

Great Idea
Great Idea shame about the lip balm though which fell off within two uses. I managed to salvage it and stick it back on but it’s now mush. They need to sort that out before I’d repurchase this item. 🥲
