Amazon are supposed to be investigating. Dont hold your breath.......... **Q: Is this product ammonia free to use on tanzanite ?** A: It does not smell of ammonia, other than that I don't know. Sorry **Q: Will it clean, gold, diamonds, opals, rubies and sapphires?** A: Yes all except opals (not sure about them) cleans my diamonds, Ruby’s and gold and silver **Q: Is this suitable to use for cleaning gold stud earrings?** A: It's useless - absolutely ineffective. Time will tell if it has any long term effects on my jewellery. After reading reviews I gave it a go and I’m pleasantly surprised at how glossy it makes your gold look. Shines like it’s new again. All the dirt and even some minor scratches look like they’ve been completely cleaned and removed off. If you feel your gold after the process it actually feels like it’s been brushed over with something. I left my stuff in for a minute rather than 30 seconds and everything now looks great. I’ll update my review if I notice anything, but for now I’m super happy and will continue to use this every couple weeks or so. Thanks!
