I added a center channel speaker, and it was partially blocking the remote sensor. This solution works like a charm and has an easy setup. One end points towards the existing IR, and the other end goes where you are going to point the remote to. The only suggestion is to include a USB connector with the product, so I don't need to find one.

Fantastic product! I have a center channel for my surround sound that blocks the infrared sensor on my Sony Bravia TV that never works. I always have to get up to turn the TV on or off as well as other functions. So I purchased this product and it worked like a charm. Very simple to install, took less than 5 minutes . I didn’t have no compatibility issues. It was plugged play . Simply stick on the transmitting sensor by the receiving sensor on the TV and then the extended sensor for receiving from your remote control put where you would like it, lastly plug in the USB plug into any 5V power block and you’re done. Super east to set up. Haven't had any issues in our very long living room so it must work at around 25ft

Setup was quick and straightforward. I plugged it in, placed the receiver, and it started relaying signals right away. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and successfully extends remote control range to my equipment without any complicated configuration. The only issue I have noticed is that it can be a little directional. I sometimes have to angle my remote slightly from the left or right instead of pointing straight at the receiver for it to register consistently. It is not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind when deciding where to place it. Overall, it performs its intended function well and is a solid option if you need an IR repeater, especially considering the price and simple setup.

When used correctly under the correct conditions these work wonderfully.

I’ve been wanting to use my DVD player more often, when I work at my desk, but it’s situated too far for the remote. This device works perfectly, now I can enjoy so many old DVDs without having to move or rearrange my whole setup.

This little device worked perfectly. My stereo cabinet has a glass door on it with wooden trim. My new receiver's IR window lines up with the wood on the door trim so it was not receiving remote signals. This little doohickey works perfectly. Stick one end on the IR window on the receiver and put the other end whenever is in view of the remote control. Also, I can use the remote from a distance up to about 30 feet away.

It is great to have this tiny eye sitting on my cabinet and the cable box out of site.
