Veito CH1200LT Free Standing Carbon Infrared Heater, Black/Silver

I have gone through a few halogen heaters over the years, usually, just over a year one of the bars would die, soon followed by the second. No more of them for me! I did a bit of research on infrared heaters and bought this one. It is a nice looking, well made heater, doesn't take up much space, easy to move around, controls are easy to get to on front. The heat that this little beauty kicks out on the 600 watt setting is amazing, it certainly "feels" far more than 600 watts. It warms all of me from head to toe and I'm sat approx 3-4 feet from it, which is something the halogen heaters never did. The temperature in my living room rose from 65f to 68f within 40 minutes on the lower setting, and it's still rising. I have tried it on the high setting, moving it approx 6 feet away from me, it was so hot I turned it down after 1/2 an hour. Considering my previous halogen heaters on the 1200 watt setting and this one on the same setting, this one feels like it's kicking out double the amount of heat. So glad I bought this fantastic heater, it's worth every penny. This lovely seller must have shipped it the day I paid for it because I received it the following day, so a huge Thank you to them. UPDATE 16th January 2024. Just wanted to say that this fantastic heater is still going strong (bought it in 2016) it's in front of me as I write this, it is without a doubt the best heater I have ever had, and the good thing now with electricity costing so much is I have it on the 600w setting most of the time, so it's saving money and keeping me warm. I love it!!!

We have a tiled room that needs a little 'extra' heat in the winter. We were using a heater which did the job but was playing havoc with my breathing and broncal cough as it was drying the air. This little heater is a perfect solution, works instantly and produces a good amount of heat. Would definitely recommend.

Good at given out heat but i must say be careful if you put the heater on flooring or carpet my flooring got hot very hot i now have it placed a small type table away from the floor

Excellent product! Looks very stylish and most importantly is very warm on the one bar setting. Only niggle is that the on/off switch is at the bottom and not the top so makes it a bit awkward to use.

Fairly flimsy feel to it and much lighter than you would expect, but does heat the room well. Bear in mind that there is no safe place to pick it up when on or still warm so place it carefully.

Excellent quality and a brilliant price

Quickly warms up living/ dining area. Was concerned it would not be warm enough and very pleasantly surprised. I've recommended it to friends who have cold homes.

I would use this Infrared Heater for instant heat supply in case of emergency, such as Gas running out of supply/interruption. The heater is intuitive to operate, looking nicely put together apart from needing to secure the base with four small screws which is supplied with the purchased Heater.
