Absolutely fantastic microphone for the price, for my set up it performs way above its price point!Bit ropey with the batter option so I'd recommend using it with phantom power to an external audio recorder.Tye accessories it comes with are ok, the shock mount is a bit flimsy but not too expensive to replace. The foam pop filter is ok, does the job you'd expect. The dead cat it comes with again is ok, saves me having to buy them separately so it's a bit of a bonus.I'd highly recommend this shotgun mic to anyone needing semi decent audio on a budget, obviously not going to get the same quality as the more expensive competition but for entry level projects or home use i'd go for this option every time!

This Boya BY-PVM1000 Pro mic, is mainly used when I have a video conference, I use the shotgun mic because I can place it out of camera shot and is unseen, i place it about 2 feet away, and I find the sound is good quality, obviously not as good as a mic that costs £300, but when used I have no problems getting a nice sound, I use it with a zoom L12 mixer.

The floor noise was way too high. It would only work with the battery installed. Wouldn’t work at all on Phantom power. So it’s being returned and refunded. It would seem that the manufacturing quality is inconsistent, as some are satisfied with it. The floor noise was so high it couldn’t be fully removed in Adobe Audition. Most disappointed.

The mic is ok for this amount of money. You will not get Sennheiser or Rode quality ofc. Compared to other mics I have already and this is the worst , not worth the money, returned.

Very disappointed with this microphone as it does not give me clean sound when plugged into the XLR socket on my camcorder. What's the point in a microphone that gives a constant background noise.

Good build quality of mic but accessories are beyond naff and it's a bit quiet.

Wanted a good shotgun mic for filming, this is great. Sturdy, well built and most importantly has a clean sound.
