"I wish I had this book at school"
My daughter is in Year 1. She reverses "b" and "d" and also writes "g" backwards; she also reverses numbers, especially 3. I've tried explaining the differences to her in my own way, but this hasn't worked. She loves "Which way?" and wanted to look at it at bedtime, instead of having a story! She says she wishes she had the book at school. We've only been using it for a few days, so I imagine her enthusiasm might wear off a little, and I've noticed that even after making a "b" and "d" with her hands she still mixes up the letters when writing, but there are other strategies in the book that we will try. She is very visual and creative and particularly liked the numbers with faces and the story about "d" looking for friends to join with. I'm pleased to have found some ideas for helping with reversals that she is keen to try.

This book is great to help support those children who struggle. I have learnt different ways and sayings to help my child remember ways particular letters go.My child has ASD and a learning difficulty, he struggles to retain information and this book is really helping him because it show different ways to understand the letters that are often the wrong way round.

Great tricks to help kids get their letters the right way round
My son has a habit of writing some of his letters and digits the wrong way round. He was finding handwriting very frustrating and anything but fun. This book gives some really useful tricks to help children remember how to write their letters. He had success from the first time he started using these tricks and it has given him the confidence boost he needed to keep trying.

I did not find illustrations to be unsavory
I hate tacky things and I eapecially hate tacky things for kids, but I only found the illustrations in this book to be done with a spirit of fun. More importantly, there is very little to be found like this, so I am thankful that this exists. I think the activities seem very well thought out and I only expect this to be helpful. My daughter was delighted simply by looking through it and interest in it is very important!

Triple order
Hello, I love ordering products, especially books via Amazon. That being said, I don't understand why I received 3 copies of this book along with 2 copies of "Learn to Read For Kids with Dyslexia" plus duplicates of the other children's books. I approved one order only. How can this be? DL

very helpful, but not made for Americans
Overall this book has been very helpful. It has helped my two kids who struggle with dyslexic tendencies and frequently reverse their letters and digits. There are several rhymes and pictures to help them remember which way each letter/digit goes.A couple things to keep in mind is that there is a page that is supposed to help with S and Z reversals, but the picture and story being used is of a zombie. Just be aware for parents who prefer not to use such imagery in learning. We don't have a problem with those letters being reversed so we haven't had to use that page.Another thing to keep in mind is that the text seems to be in British English which is easy enough to figure out if a parent/adult is helping, but may be difficult for a child if they are trying to do the assignments on their own.Overall I would recommend this book for children who struggle to write the letters and numbers in the right direction.
