Excellent all rounder
Fantastic vacuum, previously used Miele but too expensive to get another one. This was on a Black Friday deal and can honestly say it’s now my favourite vacuum of all time. Amazing suction, great accessories and finally a vacuum that picks up ALL the pet hair. It takes a couple of runs over and then you need to pull the fur/hair off the underside sticky strip and keep repeating this. Sounds like a faff, but so worth it. Always used to have to go over carpet with a wire pet hair scraper before and then hoover up the clumps. Not any more. Also superb on hard floors. Love it 😊

Highly recommended!
This is an excellent vacuum cleaner. I previously used a Miele and was planning to buy another, but I came across this one and decided to give it a try. The suction power is impressive—it handles the mess of a busy household with two dogs effortlessly. It also comes with a wide range of attachments suitable for all types of flooring. I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for a reliable and powerful hoover.

Excellent vacuum, best value for money!
It's a great vacuum. It has excellent suction power, it is lightweight and it is relatively quiet. It has ample suction power for hard floors, but also more than enough to deep clean my carpets, removing (pet) hair with ease. The main vacuum head has multiple settings - carpet, hard floor and automatic carpet/hard floor and it works very well. It comes with a bunch of other heads and accessories as well. What I also really like about the AEG 6000 bagged vacuum is that it has a very long power cord stretching out to 9 meters, which gives it a whopping 12 meter radius. This means that I can vacuum pretty much everywhere in the house without having to switch power outlets.I only wish that it was available in different colors other than just grey, but other than that I can't think of a single complaint. If you're looking for a well priced, quality bagged vacuum with plenty suction power, lots of accessories and a very long action radius, look no further - this is the one.

Highly recommend 👌
I purchased a few months ago instead of an upright bagless that I had for years. The new hoover is easy to manoeuvre. The suction is excellent. You can adjust the suction from low to high and it's very quiet on the low setting and still picks up well. I have two cats in they hate the hoover but they've got used to this one as I start it on the low setting and gradually increase it. All of the attachments that come with it are a bonus. The only downside is no on board storage. I'm very happy with my purchase and I think it's good value for money compared to the higher end brands.

Wasn’t impressed
Well, where do I start! Was not impressed by this vac at all despite looking at the reviews and thinking it seemed a good choice.Once it arrived I got it out of the box thinking it was a bit heavy and wondered if it was at all possible to balance whilst i vacuumed my stairs.I first tried the turbo tool and my god! When i turned the machine on it squealed so loud it frightened my dogs and sent them running! Now my dogs normally attack the vacuum as their game!It really hurt my ears too!Removed the tool again and tried again but the same!Went for the normal floor tool and vacuumed my living room but I was not impressed. Although the suction seemed good, it didn’t actually seem to suck anything up - i looked in the bag and there was nothing in it, no dust no dog hair- zilch.I grabbed my cordless vac and went over the same spot and low and behold i could clearly see dust and dog fur!I have no clue where it went in the AEG but it certainly didn't hit the dust bag! ( yes it was all attached properly ! )As for trying the stairs- the hose only reached so far then I had to try and balance the unit on the stairs which was tricky and the unit is quite large and bulky.I gave up, checked the dust bag again to see what had accumulated and again it lay empty! Was not happy, so I returned it, maybe I just got a naff one but as said it seemed to be sucking so I am a bit stumped!I would say that due to these faults I found it to be expensive but probably about the same base point as other vac’s.Its a shame as many years ago i had an AEG which was really good.
