Really works I have 5 dogs and accidents happen it cleans and gets rid of odour

I have a disabled pug who sometimes dribbles while he wobbles around so I bought a carpet cleaning machine and a spotwash cleaning machine. Despite most dribbles being caught and cleaned up pretty quickly I found normal carpet shampoo wouldn't be sufficient to stop smells developing. So I bought a specific urine destroyer carpet cleaning solution on here. I was happy with it and it definitely helped keep the carpet/house smelling fresh but it isn't cheap. I saw this was almost £10 cheaper for the same amount so decided give it a try. The first thing I noticed was the gorgeous lemon scent when I opened it. I put a diluted solution in my spotwash cleaner and waited until I needed to use it. I have to say, I LOVE it. It seems to remove any stains (but I probably clean my carpet more than the average thanks to the leaky dog) It smells lemon fresh the whole time and no smells have re-emerged upon drying. I have a diluted solution in a spray bottle too and spritz the carpet before I go to bed. Just a slight misting and my room has never smelt cleaner/fresh. This will be my go to carpet cleaning solution from now on- even though the other brand was good too...this is just so much better.

Neutralise odours well but hasn't helped to prevent cat from remarking the spot, but good value for money so far

I started using IDEAL 365 Carpet Cleaner on the recommendation of a cat behaviouralist to help clean up cat pee, and it’s been really useful. It’s particularly good at removing the odour quickly, which is one of the most important things when dealing with accidents in the house. I’ve also had some success with it in helping to stop repeat marking, which has made a real difference. While no product is a guaranteed fix on its own, this has definitely been a helpful part of managing the problem. Overall, it’s been an effective cleaner and one I’d happily keep using for pet-related accidents

I have a young rescue dog who has only known kennel life so house training her has been a battle. I have tried many products on the market, designed just to destroy urine and after 3/4 days that lingering dog urine smell has come back… not this time, this has to be the best stuff on the market. Admittedly I clean my carpets once a month just because I have to young dogs so my puppy has also had a few accidents but this stuff after just one use you could see it really lifting dirt and old urine from my carpets. Now I can sit in my dining room, the dogs favourite place to urinate has completely vanished no nasty lingering smells. Now if she has a slip up I have some made up in a bottle and I will spray directly on the spot and soak it up. This has prevented it soaking in and drying, I have dark carpets so it has been hard to see where she has gone but the smell was very unpleasant but this stuff has brought my carpets back to life and no nasty smells!!! I would 100% recommend this, it may take a few attempts if it’s a really nasty smell that is old but it will shift it. I spray it neat sometimes them go over with my Vax machine but it never surprises me the dirt once a month that comes up. If you have old or new urine smells definitely use this and it has a nice fresh scent that lasts days. This stuff has saved me from having to buy all new carpets. I order a new one every few months… I won’t waste my time or money on any other product!

Quantity ok for the price but lemon smell doesnt last at all. I wouldnt buy again☹️

We've had a few dogs and never really had a problem with getting rid of the urine smell with puppies (the quantity has always been small and we've been fast to clean it up). We've been looking after an older dog with an overactive bladder and one night he left a very large puddle in our back room. The carpet is really thick and I didn't spot the puddle until later the next day. The usual technique of wetting it and drying it up didn't work as I think a lot of urine was soaked into the underlay as well as the carpet. We have a Vax carpet washer and even with the Pet cleaner it didn't come close to getting rid of the smell. This stuff however, seems to have done the job! I mixed it into a bucket, about 1/4 solution to water, and poured it onto the carpet (just like the dog did!). I let it soak into the underlay and then 20 minutes later I used the Vax cleaner to suck the water back up. There was a lot of foaming but after about 20 minutes and emptying the cleaner several times it stopped foaming and the carpet appeared to look clean. It's taken quite a few days to fully dry out (it's not a very warm room) but thankfully the smell of urine has gone and I can use the room again! For those few who say it doesn't work, I don't think they've let it really soak into the underlay to get rid of the underlaying smell. It does have a very strong smell when applying it! But it does go quite quickly. Just keep the windows open when you're using it!
