It basically paraphrases some of the main discussions around certain topics and explains why certain opinions were reached. As with the whole Talmud, it's an interpretation of opinions and Torah teachings. Would recommend as a good second stage book, as you need some basic understanding for it to make sense. It doesn't cover everything, and a more in-depth student might find it too basic. So this is important book for all serious believers who want to understand from a Hebraic perspective.
