These absolutely do a wonderful job of provided concentrated humectant moisture, but they have an additional benefit I didn’t anticipate. These are extraordinary at calming skin flushing. Obviously, if you are experiencing unexplained flushing, or are otherwise sensitive, do your due diligence before blindly following the advice of an Amazon review. I experience skin flushing as a result of my skin type, some very mild (diagnosed) rosacea, and probably hormones. These pads instantly calm that hot feeling and visibly reduce redness in less than 20 minutes. I have other products I use to improve redness longterm, but these are an incredible instant relief. I’ve been using them for about a year and a half now, so I feel confident in recommending them. Very excellent product, especially for the price point. I checked the ingredient list and they contain Icelandic moss, which is a powerful cooling and calming botanical that I’ve had good results with in the past.
