This is a pressure fit stairgate. Once we had worked out how to fit it - and is very robust and good design. No need to screw anything into the walls. Gate release fitting is really good and has a double lock. Great value for money as well. Arrived well packaged and well within the delivery date.

Great. Bought it to keep puppy in kitchen and off carpets until trained. it fits our 83cm door gap very well. Easy to fit and seem sturdy. opens easily and will stay open if you open it more than 90 degrees or automatically shuts if less than that. it opens either way. It comes with cups you can screw to the door frame/wall if you want extra security against a mega baby or big dog but the pressure fit seems to be good.When you unpack it it looks like the fastening doesn't fit but once it is in place the action of tightening the screw fittings moves the gate into alignment.Very good price too.

Sting quality gate very very good and safe

This was the 2nd gate we purchased and wish had gone with it first time. Easy to install and very sturdy at the top of the stairs. Sticking patches help massively, although a pain to take off the wall! Release mechanism can be done easily with one hand.

Ended up buying two as I was really happy with the first one I bought. The instructions are kind of vague and took a bit of fiddling to get to grips with it, but once you apply common sense it's easy fit in place. Both fit really well and have successfully stopped our baby getting into mischief. Have only had them for a short time so can't really comment on the wear-and-tear aspect yet, but so far so good. Also excellent value of money. The only criticism I could find is that the opening isn't very wide - not an issue for our household but it may be for others.

Bought 2 as puppy safety stairgates. Very happy with purchase, fitted stairs well, pressure gates no screws or wall fitting required. Took about 10 minutes to fit. Good value for money.

Purchased the gate to use in the front room as have a 2yr old and puppy,perfect for puppy but not so great for my 2yr old as he can open it,so constantly going in and out we have tried tightening it so its harder to open but hasn,t worked such a shame as great price and was going to purchase another one for sons room but definitely wont be doing that.

Great stair gate. Secure and easy to fit. Just make sure it’s tight enough as the door will swing through the other way which is disconcerting at the top of the stairs. I tightened ours and it stopped doing it.
