I use this above my curtains on a wood shelve for ambient lighting and it's perfect.The remote must be pointed directly at the sensor to work but overall, i'm happy with it especially at the low price I paid

These LED lights are good as the strip shows a continuous line of lights, as opposed to others which have a few inches of separation between lights. I did have to add a second row of the lights in order to get the amount of brightness I wanted in my kitchen. I replace my old fluorescent lights with these and I am very happy I did. The lights were cheap but the electrician was not.

Easy to use and nice and bright.

Because there is very little to no instructions, here are things you should know. The lights go on well with the adhesive - speaking of adhesive - the blue tape should be pulled off as you apply the lights to your wall/cabinet. DO NOT pull off the blue tape WITH the white adhesive like I did. You should only see blue when you pull it off, front & back of blue tape.If you use the connectors (sold separately), you can only do right angles, going right, with the + on tape & the (red) wire facing up/outside on an outside corner. Red wire is longer than black, so you can't bend it any other way. This makes it challenging, if, for instance, your outlet is on the left side (looking into a closet) and you have to have a right angle go left to continue across the inside top, and same coming back down. (OK if your outlet starts on the right side). You'll have to do some figuring out on how to make the turns and connections before you start installing.

I put up four strings of these lights in my shop to provide greater light level which they do quite well. I chose to buy an external AC/DC power supply to use with a light switch. Would buy again.

We needed some bright lights for the pantry my husband just built during our remodel. Lights are perfect. Super bright. When hubby installed them, he attached them to the wall went around the door opening and wrapped back around. Only thing I noticed is that where the lights turn a corner, they don't adhere completely, and so what happened is, the part that's near the corner that's laying flat, begins to lift. I can live with that. Every so often I just go in there and lay it as flat as I can. But overall, they're bright which os what I needed.

They worked well for nearly two weeks then they suddenly got extremely dim (despite maxing out brightness) and could not be adjusted. I unplugged, checked all connections and made sure they were snug, and plugged back in but the lights never came back to life. They were dying before my eyes within two weeks of use. Within the next few hours, they stopped working altogether. I was just outside my return window so I couldn’t get them replaced, which is very disappointing as I had to burn away money on a faulty product.
