Worth the Money
I have 400 miles of hard dirt road riding and this has been a great bike. The bike has plenty of power and loves to go fast! I’m 240 lbs and I have had it to 68 mph on dirt roads. I would recommend changing out the front tire for dirt trails to avoid tire washing out in sand or loose gravel. I ride mine at 6500 elevation and it back fires a lot so I had to go with a Nibbs carburetor. Over all for an enduro I would give it a 10 out of 10 star rating for what it is ment to be used for. If you want a strict “Dirt Bike “ I would give it a 5 out of 10 star rating. Although to be fair that’s not what the bike is made for. It is a tall bike and not for beginners unless you’re ok with falling down a few times like I did. The bike will handle it great. Some parts like the break lever, clutch lever and shifter lever could use some help but a popular red brand model bike parts will fit for replacement. Performance, Durability and Comfort are well worth the money. If you miss riding and don’t want to spend four times the amount of this bike, this bike will be a great choice.

Decent bike for a great price.
I have always had name brand Japanese bikes. I got bored one day and wanted to get a Chinese bike just to tool around with. I came across the templar x 250 and was impressed with the specs. Decided to pull the trigger and it showed up 2 weeks later. I have been working on my own bikes for years, so assembly was extremely easy. Even someone who has never worked on bikes before wouldn't have to much trouble assembling the bike. I drained the oil that was in the bike and refilled it with some shell rotella t4 for break in. If you buy a motorcycle on Amazon, make sure you drain the oil the oil that is in the bike. It's only in there to prevent rust. It isn't motor oil. The bike fired right up first try, but was tuned extremely lean from the factory. I knew the factory carb wasn't great when I bought the bike, so I bought a nibbi 28mm when I bought the bike. Installing the nibbi with a 42 piolet and a 130 main jet made a night and day difference. I also installed a ngk spark plug and a nibbi coil. I know have a little over 500 miles on the bike, and I honestly couldn't be any happier with it. It has been a great bike that hasn't had a single issue, and will take you anywhere you need to go. If you want to register the bike to make it street legal. You will have to email xpro and request a motorcycle MCO. If you don't, they will send a offroad motorcycle MCO. Also you have to make sure you have a copy of the MCO and a paper copy of the bill of sale when you go to register. The templar x 250 is a great bike for beginners looking to get into motorcycles without breaking the bank. You really can't beat the price for what you get.

Good but misleading picture for blue color choice
Bike is shocking well made for what it is don't expect it to be a big 4 competitor but its definitely worth its price. Whoever assembled my bike at the factory didnt miss any bolts but i would highly recommend you go through at snug and lock tight everything. Also if you are planning on getting the teal color option i think its either a random chance or they dont make that color anymore because my decals are all dark blue.

Awesome bike, loaded with features that high dollar bikes have.
I watched many YouTube videos before the arrival of my bike, just to get an idea of what to expect. Prior to this purchase I looked at the popular bikes, so when this purchase showed, I am pleasantly supprised. I'm a mechanic by trade, so setup was simple. There is no setup manual. There is a video with no sound. It's helpful. I watched many private setup videos, and noted complaints some had with their low cost bikes. I think the makers of the Templar addressed many of those issues with this bike. I didn't find one bolt loose. I am impressed with the initial quality and performance. Though I have only rode a couple of miles, the engine is smooth and peppy, sounds great to. Really the only issue I have encountered was the front fender was to long on the back side and contacted the exhaust pipe. A little trim job and you would never know. Everything others complained about on the 5 speed bikes has been corrected with this 6 speed Templar. Time will tell, but I am quite pleased so far. If you are considering a bike like this, 6 speeds and a counterbalanced engine are a must. Haven't even tried adjusting the adjustable suspension, feels pretty good now. After a few rides I must say I'm impressed. Very good acceleration! Much better than reports on YouTube. Engine running smooth and there is power at 40mph to climb grades in 6th gear. The only issue I have is the owners manual does not list this bike specifically. Not a huge problem.. I'm glad I didn't spend 3x the money for a Honda, my use is not that demanding. I will update in a few months if able. Alright, 6 months later, ran into an issue with the idle, and a lot of rapid backfire. I inspected the carb and it wasn't serviceable without some work, so I ordered a 30mm carb, which didn't help at all. I contacted XPRO and they promptly sent me a new carb, with screws, so it's adjustable. The carb helped some, but idle was still high. I started messing with jets and found the right combination. Came with 120 main and 40 idle jets. Changed to 125 main and 55 idle jet and idle went from 3k to 1500. Power is AWSOME, getting a little over 50 mph. Couldn't ask for more. Take a chance, my issues my make it easy for you! Happy camper!!!

Surprisingly well built
Only have about 50 miles on it so far, so this may not be a through review but I’ll do my best. It arrives mostly put together, anyone with a garage and mechanical skills shouldn’t have much of a problem. LOCKTITE EVERYTHING! The frame ( which looks to be a license built KTM circa 2014), swingarm and suspension are all of dare I say Japanese level quality. The engine although no powerhouse seems to be a well built 6 speed interpretation of a CRF 230 motor. Tires are beefy but not suited well for road use, I had them balanced and they’re acceptable. Suspension is quite good for a cheap bike, the adjustment actually makes noticeable differences and while I don’t think I’d take it on a motocross track it does quite well in the mountain trails I’ve had it on so far. Watch out for fuel line routing, mine was kinked and routed touching the engine in a few places. Once I figured that out it fired right up! BEFORE YOU FULLY ASSEMBLE- Adjust the valves (0.002 intake and exhaust) take out the carb and open it up, install a larger 42 idle jet and go way up on the main. I went to a 125 and it’s still not enough, the air screw is still turned almost all the way in, I’ll be going up to a 135 tomorrow. Even the small jet increase made a noticeable difference in power and throttle response and this is all way easier to do with the tank off and exhaust off too. Overall I’m extremely happy with this and I don’t understand how they can sell a bike this fantastic for this cheap. Don’t expect a screaming 250r, I’d put it most closely to a a klr 230 or crf 230 with far better suspension. Also be aware it is pretty tall, anyone under 5’6” won’t be flat footing.

Runs good. Speedometer doesn't work.
Received this at the beginning of September and I still don't have a speedometer that works. It was shipped with a faulty speedometer sensor and/or speedometer cluster. Still not road worthy since I can't tell the speed I'm going.

Great Bike Great & Customer Service
Great bike for the money. It was even better than expected. The assembly wasn’t too bad. The instructions for the break in period were an unclear and constricted the sellers break in recommendations. However, I emailed the seller regarding this issue and they were very responsive and gave clear feedback. I ordered this bike a couple months ago. I currently only have 19 miles on it, but it starts right up and runs great. I did buy the Nibbi carburetor Based on the reviews I read prior to purchasing. I did not even start it with the factory carb. I decided just to swap it out during assembly. Almost everything worked. I had an issue with it not turning over and a brake light flickering, but I found a wire that was loose and pulled from the contact inside the harness. This caused intermittent contact and prevented the bike from turning over. 98% chance I caused this issue while trying to fit all the wiring and harnesses inside the rubber cover. If you are wondering if this bike is worth taking the chance, IT IS. My brother also bought this bike and the Nibbi carb the same day I did. He had no issues with his bike. We’ve went for a few rides and it is a blast.

Good value for the money - China Bike!
Bike arrived well put together on a crate and the crate delivery driver was good with communication on the delivery day. Takes some wrenching skills to be able to put it together but nothing too advanced. I did it myself but def recommend having a second person for the initial assembly. I did a few mods to the bike (battery, sprocket, coil, carb) to make the bike in my opinion more reliable and I had no issues with it. Rode it nearly 400 miles with no major issues. Fun bike for the money!
