Fantastic yeast - used by professionals!
This is the best yeast I have ever bought. Yes, you have to activate it for 15 min before using it, but it really gives fantastic results every single time. I have been making my own breads for a while now, but since switching to this yeast, they turn out absolutely brilliant each time. Keep the boxes not currently in use in the freezer, which prolongs the freshness, and store the open pack in a dark, cool place. So chuck out that old supermarket yeast and switch to this - you will have great results every time!

No extra additives
One of only 2 dried yeasts I can find without emulsifiers! No e numbers. I use this in my Panasonic bread maker. Straight in the dispenser. Brioche and bread rise perfectly, every time . I keep it in the fridge once opened and have never had a failure even weeks after first opening.

Dead yeast
Just opened the first tin to make bread, the yeast is dead and won't bloom. Expiry date a year away, and I always use this brand, very disappointing.

Dry Yeast for Breadmaking.
Use this in the making of Bread as an ingredient. Can recommend this yeast to anyone making their own Bread or similar items. This my recent purchase from many previous purchases, so can highly recommend.

Inconsistent
1st batch I bought was fine, although the smell is a bit off putting but it was good and active. Second batch has been dead - bread isn’t rising. Very disappointed

Yeast too close to expiry date
There’s no doubt that this brand is fantastic & far outclasses the average UK supermarket brand. Takes about 15 mins to hydrate & it works very fast & has a different smell and taste from other brands, just lovely. However the batch we got sent was 21 months old, with 3 months left before expiry date. It went straight into the freezer of course, but it’s a testament to how good this brand is: it still worked pretty well for my pizza dough. Ours was sold by Bakers Street Ltd & dispatched by Amazon; to their credit, Amazon refunded me in full once I contacted them. It’s the best yeast I’ve used, but check expiry dates & always store yeast in the freezer. It will come right back to life after you hydrate it.

Great active yeast
Great active yeast, add some honey and warm water and activates in about 10mins I use it for my whole meal and white seeded loaves love it and cheaper buying in bulk.

Short dated and not fit for purpose
I’m a very experienced baker. Tried twice to make starters within three days of receiving this year, and vastly increased the amount in the second starter. Both times far too weak to make a loaf. Item was packed April 2022 and expires April 2024 so not very long dated. It should be a very good product but I’m guessing this has been stored too warm and is now mainly ineffective. I note somebody else reviewed the same issue.. Tried to return it but was told ineligible for return. A waste of £12 and am throwing it away.
