ShiKai Borage Therapy - Daily Facial Moisturizer, Plant-Based Moisturizer For Sensitive & Problematic Skin, Borage Oil Repairs & Rebuilds Skin (Fragrance-Free, 3 Ounces)

This lotion is a moisturizer that looks and feels non-greasy. It has a a nearly imperceptible fragrance. I am allergic to most moisturizers and lotions, even one recommended by my dermatologist, but this lotion causes no negative effects. It makes my face feel good and doesn't interfere with makeup. The pump stops working well before the bottle is empty, so I cut off the top of the bottle and scoop out the remaining lotion with a finger. I have sealed this altered bottle with plastic wrap but you could also put the product into a small container if you have one. There is lots of product remaining in the bottle after the pump stops working so the bottle surgery is well worth the effort.

I read about this moisturizer online, where it said it stacked up against a $185 moisturizer- even surpassed it because it had less irritating ingredients. I was skeptical, but at $13 there isn't much risk. I figured if it didn't work out, I'd use it on my legs instead of my face. When it arrived, I was amazed by how silky and light it was. I hate greasy lotions, never use any on my hands, but this was great. It's pretty thin, so it spreads really well, and makes my face feel so silky and luxurious. I can't stop touching my face when I wear it. It feels light, but is strong enough for a winter moisturizer. I have fairly sensitive skin and this works well, isn't too perfumed and is just shockingly good for the price. If it had wrinkle fighting or sunscreen, this product would be unbeatable. It's still amazing, but if you 'NEED' those aspects, this might be better for your legs and arms.

Have used this fave lotion for decades. It’s light, fragrance free, and my makeup goes perfectly over it. It’s very soothing on my face. Cannot be without it even for a day.

The only lotion that will clear the very dry, itchy eczema on my upper eyelid! It is light, unscented and a small amount goes a long way. I'll be 50 in a couple of months and people still think I'm in my 30's - that alone is worth the money! This goes on smoothly (both am and pm) and stays well underneath my powder makeup. A great product!!

I am allergic to citric acid and it is in most skin and hair products. I love the short ingredient list for this moisturizer and how it makes my skin feel. I have been using it successfully for over a year now. I would like it to be a bit thicker coming out of the bottle if possible. I also use and love Shikai's Children's Lotion for a body lotion.

Great product. Arrived Fast. Packaged well. Photos attached. Highly Recommend. UPDATE 2026: I can only use Shikai Borage Facial Moisturizer as I have Contact Dermatitis and Rosacea. My surprise when receiving the shipment was the Seller had a photo in the description of an older borage facial moisturizer but sent the newer bottle. Inspected the ingredients on the new bottle and my current bottle (photo below) and it's the same on both bottles BUT NOT the same consistency. New version applies like Sunscreen and doesn't absorb readily. Don't like it. SELLER: Kindly update your photo and listing. Customers don't appreciate being blindsided with a different product or version. Deleted 2 Stars for newer version.

Non-greasy, effective moisturizer. Love it! A little goes a long way.

This is a nice, fragrance-free lotion that moisturizes and doesn't irritate my skin. If you're going to put on a mineral makeup though, wait for it to absorb. I generally use it at bedtime.

The best natural facial moisturizer ever. It's the only one I can use due to my sensitive skin and overall constitution. Almost all natural moisturizers use aloe vera, but aloe bothers my facial skin. Also, I'm very dry and this is the only cream that doesn't leave me still feeling flaky and tight. I really can't rave about it enough.

I'm only 4 days into using it and I've already noticed my face peels way less. I used to be able to rub my face and feel clumps of skin forming under my fingers. This doesn't happen any more. I use this once daily after I use a face wash. wow... 2 months later and the cost went up over four dollars...

Love the moisturizer, it’s light and effective. Not crazy about the delivery container. I know it’s a temporary option but looking forward to the usual container coming back.
