This is a great little book for those wishing to learn to make sugar paste animals for cake decoration. For each animal there are clear and concise intructions such as: equipment requires, the weight of the paste for the whole and for each part, the shape of the part and how to achieve it, how to attach the pieces to each other and how to colour them. An excellent book for a beginner. Thoroughly recommended.

This was a nice, simple and easy to follow guideline for making small icing animals. Anyone could make them after following the instructions - plenty of pictures showing exactly how to do them - nice and simple. I didn't make any of the animals in the book - but I did get plenty of helpful hints when making the Gruffalo animals for my granddaughters cake, and the instructions can be used for any animal - not just those in the book.

I bought this book for my work as a confectioner. We keep it as one of our library to use as a guideline for a good variety of animals. Great book, lots of pictures so you know exactly what you're meant to do. I would recommend this for anyone who is looking to make animals for a cake or party. You don't need to have any experience for the majority of these. Great practice for those who want to improve their skills with sugarcraft.

I like it, the only issue I have with it is that it uses lollipop sticks, which is non-edible material so I have to find replacements for these parts. The figurines are also pretty chunky and I'd have liked them a little more elegant.

I bought this book for my niece for Xmas (stocking filler) wasn't expecting too much for the money. Was pleasantly surprised - it's a lovely book with clear instructions. Niece was really chuffed with it and looking forward to trying out the instructions for making the sugar animals. Well worth the money and good delivery times.

An adorable and easy to use book. Great detail instructions to create sugar animals. It shows the basic shapes that are most commonly used. Choose an animal and it will refer you to the basic shapes needed. Great for beginners like me.

Très bon ouvrage permettant de réaliser des modelages en pâte à sucre en forme d'animaux !!! Même si l'ouvrage est en anglais, les images sont suffisamment explicites pour comprendre la marche à suivre pour la réalisation de ces modelages ! De nombreux animaux sont à réaliser : panda, lion, grenouille, girafe, zèbre, lézard, léopard, serpent, dauphin, éléphant, kangourou, crocodiles, singe, koala, écureuil, otarie, tigre, etc... A ce prix, je recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui aiment s'amuser avec la^pâte à sucre !!!! :-)
