appalling product
I bought the "light brown" dye to invigorate a pair of taupe John Lewis suede ankle boots . One ( didn't do the other) turned a bright plum/orange tan colour which is nothing like light brown and thus has ruined a pair of perfectly serviceable boots . In attempting a return I find that I need to pay the postage - I don't think so .!!! I'm still trying to have a successful on-line chat but have been cut off, changed to French language - I'm going to try again today. Unfortunately no luck in sending a photo.

Not at all light brown
Ordered light brown dye its actually bright orange and I mean bright orange, even on white paper its just bright orange I think the label is wrong

Great solution that works well and easy to use
Had spilled olive oil on toe of a pair of light beige suede shoes and couldn’t get it off. I thought what do I have to lose and tried the light brown dye. It worked and I actually like the dyed colour better than the original shoe colour. I would not call it light brown but a dark cognac or tobacco brown with a very slight orange undertone. I did do two coats of colour and it became much darker with the second coat. It completely hides the oil stain. I highly recommend this suede shoe dye in light brown. Very easy to apply and fantastic solution in saving a pair of shoes.

Not the color I expected
I wanted to restore the bag and chose a light brown color to tone the soft leather, but it looks more like ginger

excellent product but difficult to do properly
this stain is a beautiful color it seems to work well and have good coverage but it is extremely difficult to strain a large expanse of suede evenly. I think the information about the product sort of underestimates that difficulty, so be prepared for a blotchy look (which could work depending on what you're going for). I think with some brushing and re-touching and that kind of thing it could even up, but I actually gave up on my project because it was so blotchy and it was hard to get the area under seams. if you were prepared and you had a bunch of different brushes and applicators you'd be better off than I was. just be ready for the fact that it's not super easy to make it look good. even though the color is really rich & attractive.
