BUY BUY BUY, I love cold things, like ice for my drinks at work, and ice cream on my lunch breaks, so I transport from home. TIP, freeze this first before u put anything in it. You can put ice cubes in a zip lock bag and even ice cream not to have to clean this swell chiller.n It lasted close to four hours when I tested, it's beautiful and not heavy for the size and purpose, stainless steel. I'm going to an outdoor concert tonight in the park and I have my gaiatop handheld fan and Tommy Bahama backpack lounge chair and portable lawn blanket with my Stanley & Yeti 32 ounce all three keep everything I need cold for hours and hours I don't like my ice to melt much so it doesn't water down my cocktails and yes I have the plastic covered liquid cubes but sometimes I like to occasionally chew on the crushed ice life can be as perfect as u make it surround yourself with your favorite daily usage items. And wait for my reviews on my new stuff

This thing works really well, almost too good. I've been making home made froyo both separately using another container and then this to transport and directly in this. With my recipe you want it to sit out a bit before use. I figured the half hour drive in the car would work but used this just to be on the safe side. Well it was still quite frozen by the time I got to my destination, then sitting on the counter a bit in it, and eventually had to take it out to get it to unfreeze enough. Great job for keeping things cold on the road! For making things directly IN it, it excelled at the making as well (as long as you pre-freeze it). However one caution is that it works so well the sides will adhere a bit and take a longer to thaw. So if you're one who likes to scoop/eat down the sides of the container there's a beware there, might want to transfer it in that sense. I've only had mine for about a Month as I write, so I can't say it's spanned the test of time, but it seems solid through a few uses and don't anticipate any durability issues in the short term. I have washed it in the dishwasher included in that. My one real complaint I would say is the lid closure. It's not very bad, but if you do get any materials/liquids/condensation on the threaded closure it gets really tough to get the lid off. And then because it's been frozen and condensating its hard to get a grip, lol. For completeness that might sound complaint-ish, but not actually bothering me: I do NOT consider it "Space-Saving" as Amazon's 'ideas' are asking about, it takes up some space around what you're trying to preserve, no avoiding that. That said it probably only takes up an extra 1/2" radially with similar height expansion, and that's more because of the big lid than anything. Value wise, I cannot complain in my case because I got it on an Amazon PrimeDay deal, and if they offered that price again I might get a 2nd in another style. (style was restricted for the price). Whether it's worth $40 it currently sells for is up to how often you think you'll use it. (I.e. how often you journey far-and-wide for / with your ice cream) I have no doubt the construction and materials make that a reasonably legit price point and I could see it being worth that to some, marginal for my level of use. (It was the discount combined with an upcoming surgery where I'll have restricted eating that sold me on it.)

This container will keep the ice cream cold. I carry 2 ice cream bars and after 3 hrs they were still frozen.

I’ve always found S’well items to be great quality. This container is perfect for its function. I love ice cream and this has made it very easy to bring a pint to the beach or buy ice cream from a shop far away from home. I’ve gone as long as 3 hours without issues.

We have started making small batches of ice cream and this is so nice for taking it to a dinner party or get together. It is well make. We just keep it in the freezer all the time so it is ready to go when we need it.

This ice cream cooler is the perfect insulated container for a pint of ice cream. It makes it easy to transport from the grocery store without melting, for taking on a camping trip, or to an outdoor concert or picnic. It is a must for ice cream and sherbet lovers. An average store bought pint of ice cream fits perfectly inside the container, and the lid screws on to keep the ice cream cold. It is all metal, so the build quality is very good. (Just don't drop it on concrete because it will dent and not look as nice!) It is BPA free and doesn't have a bunch of condensation building up on the outside of the container. I also found it easy to clean.

Product had a small dent in the base. However, while I won’t purchase another one, I decided to keep it. Like other reviewers I could not close the top unless I removed the top on my pint of ice cream (reason for 4 stars). But the good news is the ice cream kept in good shape after a 90 minute drive in the trunk of my car, inside a small bag type cooler, in 90° weather. It kept the ice cream in ice cream condition.

This is essential for people who want to eat straight from the pint, without freezing your fingers or having melted ice cream. Bonus for being beautiful and easy to clean.

It keeps the Ice cream solid for about 3-4 hours. After that, it will get softer and begin to melt. Some tips, try putting the container in the fridge before use so that when you put in your food it will keep for longer. Because you have to hand wash it, try buying reusable or disposable containers to either drop in the dishwasher or throw out. One that that I wish was for a greater variety of colors (I prefer solid colors).

We've used this half a dozen times and are very pleased so far. Fits Ben & Jerry's and Häagen-Dazs tubs. Longest use so far was from about 9am till 2pm and it was still pretty solid, great ice cream. It's a no brainer when single ice creams cost £3+ and we're a family of 5.

No matter where you are.... you take out this item out and start eating ice cream & it makes people flip! "Never thought of bringing ice cream at work, how cool." Showing them your ice cream is still hard in this item speaks for itself!!! SERIOUSLY... just get one!
