Star Wars Thumb Doodles: The Epic Saga at Your Fingertips (Klutz)

Well designed book with clear, laid out steps for kids to create some imaginative Star Wars drawings. Accompanying equipment is also well made. My main problems are with the size of the book and relative cost. It is smaller than expected in size and also the number of Star Wars characters it includes. My child filled up nearly all the pages on the first use which means that subsequent uses have had to be on paper. Also, there aren’t that many characters for them to reproduce, or enough of a range of examples for the same characters i.e. Luke doing various activities.

Birthday present for my son who is 7, he loved this book and gave us something to play with together, me mainly making sure he doesn't get ink everywhere!! We had a baby wipe that we used to wipe his hands before each colour change! The ink came off surprisingly well and didn't stain his hands either! I can't remember the age range if it has one at all but I would say it is for an older child as some of the drawings are a bit advanced for a young child.

This book is great. My seven year old boy got it for Christmas from his grandparents and it was the best present for him. He immediately started thumb doodling and used the book as inspiration for more cartoons of his own. Two months later he is still doodling and raving about the book. He's gone through quite a bit of paper and the whole house is full of Star Wars cartoons. If you have a star wars mad child - this is the gift you have been looking for. Worth every penny and unlocking their own creativity. Klutz never disappoints!

Looks like a good, fun book. I expected it to be bigger though for the price and I didn't realise it was ink used for the pictures so might be messy. However, think my son will love this.

This is such a brilliant little book. The book lets you create every character you can think - there is even a Baby Yoda.My 6 year old son absolutely loves this and we can both have hours of fun thumb doodling away.His thumb prints are obviously much smaller than mine, but he is still able to create the pictures.This is very fun and at £4.99 is a bargain!

I bought this book for my 6 year old nephew and he loves it!The book allows you to create characters from throughout the Star Wars universe and with a step by step guide is easy to follow.This allows him to re-live his favorite parts of the films whilst using his imagination to create new scenes.Being a huge Star Wars fan myself - it allows me to entertain both my nephew and myself at once!Highly recommended!

Bought to encourage my Star Wars obsessed 11yr old son to be a bit more creative. While its probably aimed at younger kids, he has problems with wanting things to be perfect (he's ASD) and dislikes drawing. This is perfect, he's done several different pictures and is very happy with them, so given his confidence a boost. Very pleased.
