Everyday Words in English (Everyday Words Flashcards)

These flash cards are good quality, bright and have a good variety of pictures. They have the picture and word on one side and just the word on the other side. My daughter looks through these and holds them up asking "what's that?" She's also starting to learn the words and name them herself which is great. These are lovely for a fun and educational 10 minutes every day.

I bought these as my little boy has speech problems. I have made a post box from a shoe box and i sit with him each day and make a game of saying what each card is and getting him to post the card in the post box. It is a good way of getting his attention while i am saying what each card is. The only thing I would point out is that the cards could of been a bit stronger and I wish there where more cards.

The flash cards are simple and easy to use and everything that I wanted to help my granddaughter start recognising everyday things. Now that she is few months older she can tell me all the colours on the cards and they are also very good for counting. The next step will be when she can read the words. We are getting so much use out of them and they make learning fun.

Bought as a gift so not sure about the practicalities of using but quality of product was perfect and in my experience Usborne always have great products

I really love these cards. They are the perfect size, with both the picture and word on one side & just the word on the other. My son is only 15 months old, but loves all the images and words. Now that we have been using them everyday (because he excitedly points to them) I think he is starting to identify the word with the picture. When I place them picture side down, he always grabs the bee saying "bzzz" or the dog saying "woo woo".

Nice bright pictures and cards have stayed intact so far despite some rigorous folding and tasting! The pictures look like plasticine figures, such as the animals but all are easily recognisible. My 20month old likes sorting through to find his favourites and also likes people to show him the pictures and tell him / ask him what they are. One slight quibble - the airplane is called plane.

They are great my 18 month old daughter now recognises most of the pictures. Nice and firm too so they will last.

Las tarjetas son sencillas, con la palabra en cuestión (p.ej. 'bike' por una cara, y la misma palabra junto a un dibujo que la representa (una bici) en la otra. Es muy fácil jugar con ellas, bien a pedirle que identifique la tarjeta por la palabra que le dictemos, bien a enseñar una tarjeta y pedir que la lea. El propio niño puede darle la vuelta y comprobar si ha acertado. Las palabras son sencillas y adecuadas, aunque hay muchas palabras que empiezan por una determinada letra (por ejemplo, nueve comienzan por 'b'), cuando para otras letras importantes, como la 'e', no hay ninguna. La lista de palabras se puede ver en la foto del reverso producto. La cartulina no es muy resistente, como las cartas de una baraja (un poco más grandes), y con niños pequeños será inevitable que se doblen y arruguen, pero por lo demás son fantásticas y con una más que aceptable relación calidad precio.

Not the worth the money at all. On top of it, I felt cheated, the product had MRP sticker of 350Rs. Save your money. Cards are also not of standard size and much thinner than a playing card. It's just unjustifiable when a customer is cheated for 30% more cash. It lacks any basic quality you expect in a flash card too.

Parlo a mia figlia in inglese da quando è nata e queste carte mi aiutano ad aumentare il numero di vocaboli che lei riesce a ricordare. Molto ben fatte e con una varietà di soggetti di tutto rispetto. ci sono anche carte numeriche che male non fanno. Le consiglio.

Einfache und schöne Karten, die immer wieder gerne angesehen werden und mit denen man mit Kindern die 50 Wörter gerne erarbeitet und wiederholt. Toll finde ich auch, dass die englischen Bezeichnungen der gezeigten Gegenstände sowohl unter dem Bild geschrieben sind, als auch auf der Rückseite. So kann man gut "Wortbilder" trainieren.
