Perfect match for my Chaparral 220SSI replacement (for the JBL MR16) but I had to send it to Prospec Electronics to add the wired remote harness. $30 and a quick turn-around! Works perfect!

I would say you will be satisfied with the product itself
Just purchased the JBLMR145S JBL AM/FC/CD "Marine radio". I would say you will be satisfied with the product itself, but beware of the following:1. It's a "marine" radio that doesn't come with a face plate cover guard to protect it from water, waves, rain, whatever. When you read the installation book, on page 3 notice under "4.Installation" that you must purchase the marine radio cover separately and Prospec recommends a manufacturer named "Searworthy". (this will cost anywhere from $18 - $30, depending where and how and what "Prime" club you belong to, and you really need to get this cover) The cheapest I was able to get (price and quality) was around $30. (Why can't this be included with the radio?)2. This radio is made to be used with a wireless remote, but of course, you guessed it, you wise consumers, you, it must be purchased separately.Way to nickel and dime your customers Prospec. (I wouldn't be surprised to know that "Seaworthy" is a Prospec company) This is the 3rd one of these radios I have purchased. The last one had a hard wired remote control, but Prospec doesn't make that one anymore (It's the one I'm replacing because I didn't have a cover, stupid me) Hey Prospec, why don't you send me a remote control at no cost? (that would certainly prove to me that you want to satisfy your repeat customers, what say ye?) Bet ya I won't be purchasing anymore of Prospec "stuff"!Both the radio and cover where shipped for free and quickly, more or less.
