Vileda Single Cordomatic Retractable Washing Line, 15m, Holds up to 15kg

Really pleased with this washing line. The 15m length gives plenty of space for a full load of washing, and it retracts neatly when you're finished, which is perfect when you don't want a permanent washing line taking up the garden. It feels sturdy and well made, and the 15kg capacity is more than enough for everyday washing. It's also really easy to pull out and put away. I particularly like how compact it is when not in use. No loose washing line flapping around or getting in the way! Had it for ages and it's held up well in all kinds of weather we have in england

This line is easy to use and worked well for a while. However, the small plastic fixing used to tension the line snapped off after a couple of years. Guess it became brittle with the changing weather.

Great retractable bipedal single line, Well worth the price and easy to use and i would recommend it to anyone who has a small garden and needs a washing line

Really good quality Foldable swivel head retractable double washing line. It means we can stretch)adjust the lines in any directions suitable for hanging our clothes rather than needing it to be in a straight line. The two bars underneath to taunt/keep the line tense is very useful. Easy to use. Made from metal and plastic. One flaw is regarding the included screw head is too small - my husband had to add/use a washer (not included) to screw it in the wall.

Great item for price. Last one lasted approximately 5yts before breaking which I think is acceptable when outside all the time. Happy with the anthracite colour also as matches the rest of the house.

This replaced a previous vileda cordomatic which snapped where you coil the cord round to hold it in place when being used. This new one has a much bigger bit to wrap the cord round and is much stronger. The 3 stars is given because the 1st time we used it, the cord slipped round the new bit and all the washing fell on the floor. The newer stronger bit doesn't grip the line unless you wrap it round at least twice. This is actually quite hard to do. Rest of it is perfect and works fine - this friction element needs re thinking again.

Does what it is supposed to. Cheap and cheerful but works well. The line itself is very thin guage, but seems to be strong depsite this. At anything over 5 or 6 metres extension you will probably need a line prop as it does sag quite a lot, but in my experience this is the case with any clothes line. The supplied fixings are my only issue and are, in my humble opinion junk, especially the wall plugs. I was sceptical of their quality when initially fitting and sure enough they failed after a couple of weeks. Dump them and use some decent screws and wall plugs (I used 50mm x 4mm screws and cheap red wall plugs form one of the "catalogue" tool suppliers) and you should be very happy indeed. Overall, definitely recommended.

Excellent product. No issues whatsoever.

Good quality

Brilliant and efficient. Very strong.
