**Q: It the "reach" 98 feet or 49 feet (and reported to be 98 due to there beng 2 lines)?**
A: There are 2 lines with each one being 49 feet in length for a total of 98 feet.

**Q: Does this have a locking mechanism on it or does the line have to be fully extended?**
A: Well that pathetic little "hook" doesn't work.  What a piece of jumk.  The line I had for over 25 years is still locking in place.  Returning this ASP.

**Q: What do the oval-shaped ends attach to? Are the anchors to keep the line taut attached to the unit itself, or separate? Is all hardware included?**
A: the oval ends attach to eye hooks that you screw into a post (or whatever) at the other end. the anchors are part of the unit. all hardware is included.

**Q: Is this line plastic coated wire, or nylon? - What is the max workload?**
A: I believe it's plastic-coated wire. I don't know the workload offhand, it's been up for a few years, and hasn't let me down yet. I hang ALL my laundry on it all winter near the woodstove, except really heavy items like rugs or husband's heavy work coat.

We decided to buy this retractable washing line as a space-saving alternative to a traditional outdoor line, mainly for a smaller garden. First impressions & build quality It feels sturdy and well made, with a solid casing that doesn’t feel flimsy. The dual line setup is a useful feature, giving extra drying space when needed. Ease of installation Installation is fairly straightforward, but it’s important to mount it securely to get the best results. Once fixed properly, it feels stable during use. Line length & tension The 15m lines provide plenty of drying space. The tension is good when pulled tight, although like most retractable lines, it can sag slightly if overloaded. Ease of use The retractable design works well and keeps everything tidy when not in use. Locking the line in place is simple once you get used to it. What could be better Can sag if too much weight is added Installation needs to be done properly for stability Not as strong as permanent fixed lines Who this is for / who it isn’t for Good for: • Smaller gardens or patios • Space-saving setups • Occasional or moderate use Not ideal for: • Heavy loads of washing • Those wanting a permanent, heavy-duty line Conclusion A practical and space-saving washing line that works well for everyday use, provided it’s installed correctly.
