This candle is an absolute must-have for the fall and winter months. The scent, "Breakfast Oats," is incredibly warm, cozy, and inviting. When it's burning, it fills the room with this rich aroma of vanilla, maple syrup, and cinnamon, making the whole house smell like a cozy kitchen on a Sunday morning. It’s sweet and comforting without being overpowering or having that harsh, artificial chemical smell. Honestly, it perfectly sets a warm mood for bundling up with a blanket and a book, and it gives a solid burn time of around 45 hours, which is great for its size. I am a big fan of the quality this brand uses. The wax is a non-toxic blend of coconut and apricot, which burns very cleanly and evenly. I appreciate that there's no soot or dark smudging residue left on the glass or my furniture after I blow it out. The fragrance throw is strong—I can even leave the cap off the unlit candle for a while, and the pleasant scent is enough to help mask small lingering odors in the house. This high-quality wax is a huge plus, especially for people who are sensitive to the ingredients in cheaper candles. I also really love the look and design of the candle itself. The jar is simple and elegant with a clean, minimalist design, so it blends in perfectly with any home décor. The lid is a nice bamboo that fits snugly. Once the candle is completely finished, the jar is reusable, which I appreciate for storage or other uses around the house. I do think the price is a little high for an 8-ounce candle, but given the unique, high-quality wax and the fantastic, authentic scent, it’s worth the splurge for a seasonal treat or a thoughtful gift.

When I saw this Breakfast Oats candle, I thought it would smell like the toppings for the oats, fruit, brown sugar and other spices. It does, but it also smells like the oats themselves. I think oats are the top note in the scent and it fills the room, just as if I was preparing it in my kitchen. I love to burn this candle on Sundays, when we have our biggest breakfast of the week. It gives our home a warm aroma, the kind you want when the family is around the table sharing a meal. The smell reminds me of cereal mornings growing up, my brother and I fighting over our cereal variety pack favorites. I also love the fact that the wax is coconut and apricot. I use coconut and coconut oil in so many of my beauty products already, my lotion, bath gel and toothpaste. It feels fresh, healthy and natural. I wanted to bring those qualities to my candle burning, even though I like soy candles as well. I think the coconut wax burns cleaner and you don’t see as much of that soot residue on the candle glass or the surface its placed on, when you blow out the candle. I think the smell spreads more with this wax, too. The candle comes in a beautiful jar that I will be saving, with a bamboo lid that fits snugly. I can use it as a storage container all over the house or, of course, use it for my real breakfast oats.

The candle label says it is CRUSHED BLUEBERRIES, ORANGE ZEST, MAPLE SYRUP TOASTED OATS, CINNIMON SPICE & VANILLA BUTTERMILK scent in a reusable glass. We have very sensitive noses and were hoping to smell the bluberry and orange zest and oats, but the vanilla and maple syrup overpower the other scents. It's a warm and pleasant smell, but the label isn't descriptive of the scent other than the vanilla and maple syrup. It's a nice little candle, but overpriced for the size and the lack of all the notes described. If you're looking for a warm, sweet smelling candle this is it, butthe brand has other scents that their scent label better represents. There are equally good candles in larger sizes with comparable scents for less expensive. We will update this review if there are additional pros, cons or issues as we continue using this candle. 😊

This is not my first outdoor fellow candle, but it my first experience with this fragrance profile. I like this brand of candles because I am EXTREMELY allergic to the vast majority of candles. With this brand, I can burn them outside on the porch or patio and tolerate them well. For this particular fragrance profile, I was actually able to burn this in the house for a few minutes to help mask an unexpected foul odor that needed to be moved through in a hurry. Likewise, if the entryway smells musty, or someone carried the trash out the front door, I can leave these candles unlit, but with the cap off and that is often enough to distract from any lingering smells that haven't completely dissipated. The fragrance in these are strong, but high quality enough that I can use them with care. I don't think I will ever be the type of person who could tolerate a candle burning for hours indoors or out, but it's nice to have access to these very pleasant fragrances, like "breakfast oats", in small doses that don't seem to cause me any harm. That's a real treat and highly unusual. I'm a fan.

Do not let the name , "Outdoor Fellow" throw you off. This candle is definitely an indoor scent you'll love in any room of the home. "Breakfast Oats" - not an aroma I would normally choose simply based on the name. This reusable glass candle filled with coconut and apricot wax had a variety of aromas that just seem to go very well together. I don't have the best "smeller" due to chronic allergies and sinusitis, but I can smell the vanilla and oats and a slight taste of the orange zest. The blueberry and cinnamon aren't as noticeable to me, but the over all combination of scents leaves my bedroom smelling D I V I N E. A very warm and inviting aroma. I did notice some slight pooling, although I did have my ceiling fan on at the time of burning. The one wick is very short already, so no need to trim it down. It does come with a lid, although it says not to use the lid as the candle "coaster". Depending on how much you burn the candle or use it under a warmer will determine the amount of hours you get out of it. Highly recommend this Breakfast Oats candle if you enjoy warm cozy aromas.

Excellent! Authentic visceral nutty, blueberry-sweet and cinnamony, it has a balance between warmy spice and oaty/nuttiness vs. cooler semi-sugary bluberry cereal milk / maple syrup. I was able to pick up the notes 'blind' before referring to the advertized notes. It's got a touch/ quality of 'perfume/fragrance' to it where the scent can definitely carry, it's actually familiar, and isn't that quiet of a scent despite the coziness of the notes. I feel maybe the coconut and apricot waxes (love that) could be adding a feel too underneath, though not overtly, just if I were to stick my nose close and describe detail to that extra degree. It's cleanly, evenly poured and tidily, neatly labeled, a nice weighted glass with thicker base, and the box had it snug enough to not bang around which I appreciate as well. The lid has a nice airtight seal, and is a thick glossed cardboard which has a nice appearance. "Do not place on lit candle" is written on the inner side. I love the notes written on the label, adds this tasty touch connecting your senses to the foody notes! And overall if you love strong toasty sweet fragrances, I don't think you'd be disatisfied.

I really have enjoyed this candle. The scent is cozy and comforting. It has burned for a good amount of time. I did notice that there were several areas where it felt like the wax wasn't fully covering (I am not too sure how to explain it other than empty space in the jar) but it hasn't seemed to impact the amount of burn time I have gotten out of the candle too much. Overall, it is a nice candle. I do think for the size the price is a tad high, but it is a nice candle.
