The Baby Banter replaced a larger knife and hasn't missed a beat. Its smaller size allows me to carry it in running style shorts where my previous knife was too bulky. Came razor sharp, feels like serious quality, looks great, easy to open and close. Solid value for the money.

Sweet little knife! This is my first Civivi so based on what I’ve heard and seen about them, I figured they were a pretty reputable brand and thought I’d give it a go for a new smaller EDC. I wanted something light and compact as my previous EDC is a rough rider and is heavy and bulky (although I do love it). This knife fit the bill and feels like a high quality knife. Came out of the box plenty sharp and in perfect condition. Really nice carrying case and cleaning cloth that came with it (probably won’t use it unless I’m traveling but a nice to have). Color is exactly like the images. Opening/closing action is solid - first open felt a bit stiff for my liking but my old EDC was plenty broken in and I think I just got used to it. After 2-3 opens this knife started moving SMOOTH. Action is loose enough to flick open every time to a locking position only using your thumb (no need to flick your wrist to help). There’s plenty of room to get your thumb under and get a solid flick - I have sausages for fingers and have no issue finding the stud quickly and flicking it open nice and smooth to take care of the tape on a cardboard box. Incredibly pleased with this knife. Light but so sturdy, no wiggle or play in the blade at all - I highly recommend this for a compact EDC.

Reason for purchase. I got this knife because I wanted something small that I could carry in my right front pocket and open with one hand for the purpose of opening boxes or whatever. My first single purpose folding knife other than the SOG locking keychain knife. While that knife is great it's not something I can get to with one hand. Good things. 1. This hits the mark. Just throw it in my coin pocket, carry with no feeling of weight or body. 2. Pull out and easily deploy. Easily retract, your thumb stops the blade from ever hitting you when closing. 3. Not intimidating or too crazy looking. Unexpected things. 1. I spent about 30 minutes opening/closing the knife while watching YouTube videos. Initially I just wanted to get familiar with it but it immediately filled that brain spectrum that fidget toys do. 2. The size and weight was exactly what I was looking for. Rare is it that you get that from something you order online. Bad things 1. The knife looks too good to be left covered in box tape gunk. This is leaving me thinking I should get something cheaper and uglier for this function. I just want something in the same size/shape/mechanism if I could find one out there. Overall Happy with the purchase, now on the lookout for a version of this with replaceable utility blades.

Love Civivi knifes & the baby banter is a great edc knife. Fits perfectly in the small pocket of your jeans.

I purchased the one with the white scales, and red blade. This thing looks amazing. The first thing I noticed; is that this thing is solid, and built to use. The best way I can describe this thing, is that it is a big, small knife. The action is a bit tight, but I'm sure it will break in. My only complaint is it didn't come perfectly sharpened. There were a couple of burrs, and scratches on the bevel. This was easy enough to fix myself. Customer service was helpful, and offered to replace it. This is my second civivi knife. These things are built for everyday use. These are my two sharpest pocket knives. Both are easy to maintain as well. Great value for the money. I also love their warranty. "Guaranteed for life, or until confiscated by the TSA, or ballpark security."

These little knives are awesome! They flick out easy, close easy, great choil, and jimping! Because of the choil and jimping you can get an amazing grip/handle on the thing even with it being a little guy. They open and close so smoothly I find myself fidgeting with it quite a bit. Its super slicey, glides through tape, paper, cardboard, wires all with ease! It definitely became one of my favorite knives I own, so much so I bought 2 more the blue/black and the all black. The all black is now my daily carry for work. The red/ivory one is absolutely beautiful and I want to keep it that way so that one will only come out on special occasions. But I'm a bit of a knife snob and like to keep a few safe queens. Plus to top it off you can rest assured your money is going to a good company ran by a knife enthusiast who's a HUGE part of the knife community and who makes quality knives with quality materials! I recommended it to a few friends and family when I first got it and I definitely recommend it to anyone reading this!

Unique looking knife that is well made and compact. It comes with a nice nylon zippered case worthy of keeping your glasses in and a cleaning cloth, something I wasn't expecting and pleased in it's addition.
