Perfect Gift for Soon To Be Brother or Sister
We bought this as a little gift for my daughter’s 3 year old friends who were becoming a big sister and big brother so they had something special to open on the arrival of the new baby. It was a lovely book which tells the story of the fox becoming the biggest and needing to look after the smaller one which both sets of parents said really helped them feel like they were being helpful when the new baby arrived. I loved it because it wasn’t specific to boys or girls so made a wonderful gift for both. Hardback cover with paper pages make it a perfect thing for that age group. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged. I’d definitely buy it again for another soon to be big brother or sister.

A beautiful sentimental gift
The most beautiful story for our daughter to celebrate becoming a big sister. It made her feel so special and she loves reading it with her baby brother!

Very sweet book
Bought for a three year old to help 'welcome' her new baby brother - sharing the limelight's never easy - and she loved it, as did her parents and the rest of the family. The story is very well written and beautifully illustrated. I loved the choice of two foxes - gender neutral and a nice change from the more predictable bears or kittens etc - and how the moral of the story wasn't laboured but was just the right length for a small child to understand and appreciate. Highly recommended.

Great way to involve the whole family
This is a gorgeous little story book. Definitely for under 5s though. The messaging is great but the level doesn't really stretch outside of the recommended age group - great for a 4yo though. Artwork is lovely too and this book is a great way to involve older siblings. Gifted this as part of a maternity gift to a colleague and was a big hit.

Beautifully illustrated
This book is beautifully illustrated with simple, large and engaging pictures. There are only a few words on a page so it works well for reading to my 2 year old son. He enjoyed reading it and we used the pictures and sentences as a discussion starter for the way he can interact with his baby brother once he is born.

Sweet book
Really sweet book. Perfect for celebrating an older sibling who is awaiting a special arrival. Took a very long time to arrive but it was the very beginning of the pandemic so, it was understandable.
