Cat Alarm Clock

I bought this item for my grandaughter who loves cats, for her birthday. She was thrilled with it and an additional bonus is it is orange and this is her favourite colour. The fact that the clock makes a "cat" sound instead of a "bell" tone was also a novelty.

MEOW noise of alarm doesn't work sounds like the cat is being strangled. Nice looking clock though.

A great novelty alarm clock, a great gift for any cat lover.

I found the sound tinny and most unlike any cat I've heard. It is with the local charity shop now.

This is a wonderful cat alarm clock! It wakes you up to meowing sounds! Is very sturdy and brightly colored!!

We had this clock for years. Our daughter loved it so much that she asked for the same one. (Original one met its end at the hands of her younger brother.) The review are correct in the limitations: * Alarm is not accurate down to a minute (old fashioned setup where you lign up the alarm hand and once the hour hand passes it shorts a circuit) * The meow is loud (albeit that is what our daughter likes about the clock) The positives: * It is festive in appearance. * Helps to teach time. * It is durable. -Yes, we finally destroyed one, but it took a long time. The clock took a bunch of trips down to the floor (4ft) and down the stairs with a landing on tiles. It was the fifth or sixth trip down the stairs, or more likely the landing, that dislodged the handles. Beforehand, some parts loosened up and needed to be retightened and that was it. (The parts were the nuts on top of the decorative bells.) ----- * One note, the replacement we got had the original batteries leak and the battery compartment was damaged. I processed the Amazon return with no issues and the new one is on the way. This would have been the same if we picked it up in the store as you could not see the issue unless you took it out of the box and opened the battery compartment. This one off experience did not alter my view that it is a great clock.

Ok, it is cute, the kids love it but the sound was so loud, it was so hard to set the right time, and ring for so long that it felt like torture. I found impossible to set the time for next day immediately after I turn the alarm off. I would turn the clock off and later turn on and set a new time. All too impossible while I am still half asleep. Today it became decoration in the kid's room.

It's a simple straight forward alarm clock for little kids. My 5 year old son loves it and it iskind of helping him wake up in the AM without much trouble. I say kind of coz he's still a little kid after all and there are days he just wants to not wake up for school 😉 I wish it had snooze option though. We like it overall
