This is a fantastic Comedy Drama but would have been a great deal more exciting if the English Subtitles mentioned in the advertising were actually available! I got through with a friend translator …,

We loved this elegant comedy that whets your apetite. It's a rare specimen of a threatened species: the comedy in good taste! It seems that lately producers believe that you have to be gross in order to be funny...Loved the parodies of traditional French cooking and of the Spanish new wave of "molecular cooking"!A couple of warnings are in order, though:1. This film will leave you craving good food! Avoid it if you are on a diet...2. You don't have to love French cooking to appreciate it, but it helps... There are numerous references to recipes and wines that people familiar with the theme will enjoy, but may be totally missed by others.It's not a ROTFL film, but we smiled from start to finish. I suppose you could say it's a "feel good (and hungry) film".

This is a really enjoyable movie. Jean Reno always fantastic, with a great supporting cast. Passion for food shines through, so great scripted writers. Just be careful of region when ordering if you want region 2.

Bought this for daughter in law who liked it immensely. It was on her wish list - wish it was in English though.

Really enjoyable film,fun & light its perfect when you just want some entertainment.

Would like to review this movie, but am unable to do so. Am aware that this movie is in French. But despite checking the description which stated that it has English subtitles, it DOES NOT! Very disappointed.

"ratatouille" with some lovely humerous twists - a firm family favourite.
