Our daughter has played with this non stop. She’s obsessed with claw machines at arcades so this was a home run. The plushies that come with it are the best size and weight, but we’ve tried a few candies. They’re definitely harder to get, but she enjoys that. The plushies are easy to learn how to grab. We sometimes use this as a way for her to pick out her evening treat. And seeing as it can only pick up very small candies it’s a win win as far as I’m concerned. Haha! Assembly was easy as well as learning how to use it. The only drawback I see is if a child were to be even a little rough with it, I could see it stop working pretty quickly. The parts are a bit flimsy. So be sure to encourage gentle use.

The media could not be loaded. This was a gift for my son's 5th birthday. Knowing his love for real claw machines which cost a lot, I decided to get this for him so he plays at home and it kind of scratches that itch. He's been playing the whole day, and we are playing with him! I'm glad it came with a set of squishy toys that we are playing with, it didn't have success with candies, I don't know if you have to have special candies or not but the ones we had were not big nor heavy however, it didn't pick those up. It's playing great with its own toys and I believe if we search more, we will definitely find other things to drop there and be able to get out. The quality is great and I'm happy it has the option to turn the sound off. I prefer the sound on tho because when you have less time on the game, the music gets faster letting you know the time is almost over. There is nothing I dislike about this toy, it's real fun and no defects. It's also great for big companies. The kids at our house were suggested to pull out as many candies as they can to take home, unfortunately the candies were not picked up so we ended up giving them in gift bags. :-)

A toy for my 3 year old that turned into a toy for the whole family! We all know claw machines are addicting - this one is no exception! It has two volume settings, plus and off setting which is nice, it works pretty well considering the price, my only qualm is that I wish it had a single joystick rather than three separate up/down side to side/up and down functions. It’s a bit more confusing that way for smaller kids. The prizes that come with it are cute, but I recommend getting some other little items or candy to fill it up more and make it more fun! Overall, good fun for the whole family, and a good purchase!

Years ago I purchased a claw machine that had roughly the same picture as this one. I used it in my booth at events like camp fairs. It worked great and drew kids to my booth. I ordered 2 of this product and was severely disappointed. The overall size of the machine is smaller than my old claw machine. The claw itself is the same size. What this means is that there is precious little room to maneuver to grab a prize. I feel like the company reduced the size and kept the price the same. After trying for about 15 minutes I was totally frustrated, so I can only imagine how negatively kids would react to this small claw machine. I almost never leave negative reviews, but I can not recommend this product.

UPDATE: Replacement item received and works great. Grandson and whole family love playing with the Claw machine. Music isn't too loud. Claw was able to pick up smaller items. Great product for the price.Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. Opened it early to set it up so when he opened it, he could immediately play with it. Claw machine would not turn on. Changed out batteries. Nothing. Returning it with a replacement request. Will update if replacement actually works.

It is a cute idea, but could not pick thing up very well

The media could not be loaded. After reading reviews that said the claw wasn’t very strong, I took the plunge and ordered this claw machine. Others in the same category look like they had even less space. Its only 12” high. The pictures of deceiving it’s quite small however, I filled it with the right size trinkets… Maybe even overfilled it a little bit but that’s OK. The grabber works very well. For people that said the sound is so loud, I don’t even understand that it’s not loud it’s a normal volume but you have the option to also use it with no sound which is some thing. Many of the other claw machines do not have. The little girl I bought this for is having a ocean/under the sea themed birthday so I bought little mermaid, sequin keychains, a collection of little girls gemstone rings, a mermaid necklace, earrings, and bracelet set, slinky bracelets, a pink shark tooth necklace and also plastic cut multi colored gemstones. So for anyone buying this as a gift, I encourage you to get creative and try to get a theme going! So much fun!The lid doesn’t come off of it. You put everything in through a small hole in the back which is fine - you can use a screwdriver or a butter knife to kind of prop things where you want them. The claw grabber has no problem picking any of them up. I was worried that it was going to be super weak, but it is literally perfect and not difficult to use at all. They should be a great gift for someone 5 to 7 years old! I was able to find a square gift bag also on Amazon that fits her perfectly!
