For 2 meter repeaters, the Fumei duplexer WILL NOT WORK as it requires at least 3 Mhz between frequencies. The 2 meter repeaters are only 600 khz. **Q: We are using hand-held walkies at a specific vhf frequency for tx and rx. how would the repeater have to be tuned, and and the hand-helds programmed?** A: This must first be answered from the "legal" FCC side of the house. Are you talking amateur radio or commercial? For amateur radio, the spacing between tx and rx is 600 khz, for commercial it is, usually, 5 Mhz. For commercial repeaters, you must have your license coordinated (the FCC will not approve it otherwise). Also, if it is amateur, keep in mind that the Fumei duplexer must have at least 3 MHz difference between the transmitter and receiver.
