I have long needed to replace my last everyday egg pan, and after much research, I settled on the Caraway 8" ceramic mini fry pan. It was pricey, but upon receiving it, I was impressed by the weight and quality of the pan. I have cooked in it several times, and unlike my previous Great Jones Small Fry, it is so non-stick that it barely needs to be cleaned after use. The pan is beautifully designed, weighted well for handling on a stove, and an absolute joy to cook with. I have since also purchased the accompanying lid and am very pleased with it, as well.

Wow, what a great piece of kitchen gear! I had been using a stainless pan for years and constantly having to use tons of oil for cooking omelettes or eggs. With this pan you only need a tiny amount of oil and the eggs can be easily flipped. I normally don't even need a spatula it's so easy. I use an olive-wood spatula to preserve the finish as metal is not recommended by the manufacturer. Easy clean up, you can pretty much just wipe clean with a damp cloth or paper towel. No more soaking in the sink for an hour. Truly an exceptional product and available in many cool colors. I will buy more products from this company for sure.

We were looking for non stick ceramic pan that was PTFE & PFOA free. We tried another cheaper brand which did not live up to its non stick claims. This pan was expensive, but top rated by consumer reports. We have used it twice so far and it is excellent. It has a quality feel and the non stick claim hold up. We made a fried egg to test it and the egg did not stick to the pan. Make sure to follow the care instructions provided with the pan.

This is a high-quality Mini Fry Pan. I use it for making omelets. The non-stick quality is superior when compared to similar products. It may seem a little heavy for some, but I find it just fine. It has a heavy-duty handle which could account for the added weight. It cleans up without any effort. I have a Caraway cook set which made me consider this product and I'm glad I did. I would definitely by it again, but I think this will last for many years to come.

First off, it's a beautiful pan. I feel much more sophisticated than I actually am when it's on the stove. This is a great everyday pan for things like eggs & shrimp. I'm a bit trepidatious about using it for foods I want to cook hot & fast because, per the instructions, you should "use your pan on low to medium heat when cooking. Overheating can wear away the non-stick coating." I guess we'll learn what we can & can't do over time. Things I really like so far: It can go from the stove to the oven (and at pretty high heat). Also, I appreciate the clarity & thorough-ness of the instructions.

Its a nice pan but my eggs still stuck to it a bit. Ill keep it

I submitted a review for this product (see below) after using the two pans I purchased for one year. Now that about 28 months have elapsed since I bought the Caraway pans, I'm at the point that I'm ready to toss the 8" pan that I use essentially every day to cook eggs in a small amount of oil. Despite all my best efforts to keep the pan clean following the instructions included with the order, it just hasn't retained its non-stick capabilities. The exterior enamel also continues to wear as well (see original photo of pan after 1 year...it's much worse now). The larger pan I purchased isn't used as much but it's also beginning to lose some of its non-stick capabilities and I don't expect it to last as long as I had hoped. As such, I've changed my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars. I am really disappointed with these pans and the hype that I keep reading about them online. Frankly, I don't think they are worth the money. Buyer Beware! Original review from 2024: I bought an 8" and a 10.5" Caraway frying pan just a bit over a year ago, and I use the 8" pan almost daily to cook eggs and veggies for breakfast. I use the larger pan less often, but at least once a week. I always hand wash both pans and neither has ever been in the dishwasher. Given this, here's my assessment of pros and cons to date. Pros: the pans both have good heat distribution and have maintained good non-stick characteristics. However, I always use a small amount of oil to help keep food from sticking to the pans. Given this, I've been very pleased with the cooking and non-stick performance of the pans over the last year. Cons: I use these pans on a gas cooktop with cast-iron grates. As you can see from the photo, the painted exterior of the pans, but especially the one I use almost daily, does not stand up well to placing the pan on and taking it off the grates. The pan certainly looks used, but it also is disappointing that the finish is so easily damaged. Another disappointment is that the handles can get very hot when cooking even over medium heat. When I received the pans, I noted that the 8" pan had an imperfection in the non-stick finish and I contacted Caraway about this, being concerned that it might compromise the pan in time. At first, Caraway offered to send me a partial refund to soothe my worries, but once they found that I purchased the pans from Amazon, they withdrew that offer. Is Amazon an official seller or not? After having and using non-stick pans for decades, including Caphalon, All-Clad, Henkels, and others, I am so far impressed with the non-stick nature of the pans, but I cannot say the same for the pan's exterior paint, and the heat absorbing design of the handles. I gave the pans a 4 out of 5 stars, but I could have just as easily gone with 3 of 5.

This is the best pan I have used. I have banned anyone in my family from using it . I like my eggs not sticking to a pan, but for that I will risk a divorce
