Pull off lid and open closure. Find the start of the wipe in the centre of the roll. Pull out approx. 1 foot of wipes and thread through lid. Replace lid immediately and reseal closure. Bought them for cleaning up when decorating etc, i was wearing a pale grey wool jumper and accidently got a big line of pen mark on my nice jumper, as these stated they get multiple things off stuff i thought id try to remove the pen line with them, simply rubbed the wipe over the ink a few times and saw the ink disappearing, these wipes saved the day, no ruined jumper. Also wiped paint off my hands no hard scrubbing. Was great for cleaning marks off surfaces too. Being a nice big tub means they should last me a while. Id buy these again. "White Spirit" not listed among them as far as could see **Q: can you use them on car paint** A: I agree with Liz and tom c. I think it would spoil the paintwork as it does take a slight layer of paint off. I use it for scuff marks on indoor paintwork but would not use it on gloss, enamel or car paintwork. **Q: Can this be used to remove accidental dried polyurethane foam residues on brick work?
