EXCELLENT top coat. I keeps my nails looking nice for almost as long as gel but without damaging my nails. I'll upload a picture so you can see my nails after five days of washing dishes and doing normal life. You can see the nail regrowth near the quick and you can see that the nails did not chip at all. The trick is to paint a layer of this top coat between each layer of your preferred color and then do two topcoats after you're satisfied with how it all looks. Be sure and let it dry a few minutes between coats. It takes 2-5 minutes per coat. I use Beetles nail polish (NOT GEL) and it works super well. I've never found nail polish as good as this ever. Best of all? Acetone will take it off without a problem and my nails do not get damaged like they used to from gel polish. I don't waste ridiculous amounts of time trying to get this stuff off like I used to have to do with gel. Essie is the BEST!

I have looked forever for a top coat that will keep my nails from chipping. This is at least a full week. And it gives it a little bit of shine. I was very relieved to finally find a product that actually did what it said and worked very well

I am a longtime fan of Essie nail polishes and strengtheners. I have tried so many other nail products, but Essie is my favorite by far. The products are vegan, and do not contain harmful chemicals such as formaldehyde. This top coat sets quickly, is nice and shiny, and stays on for over a week without chipping or cracking. I now buy my own Essie products and taking them to the salon and have my manicurist use these instead of what the salon carries. I find that my nails are much healthier and stronger when I use Essie products, and my manicurist gives me a discount for bringing my own products. Honestly I woukd happily pay full price for the manicure even with buying my own base coat, polish, and too coat, but she insists on the discount.

Good top coat. Does last but after 4 or 5 days of regular hand washing it does peel. I bought twice because so many others did not last at all.

I finally found a too coat that makes my nail polish stays on for a week

I love this top coat so much it makes my nails last sooooo long. I use nail stickers vs polish and then put this top coat over and they last 2 weeks at least. It drys so quicks an it’s super shiny. It works well with cheap polishes too makes them last a long time. I’m in my 3rd bottle and I’ll never buy anything else.

I’ve used this Essie brand topcoat because it’s healthier for me and doesn’t have all the harmful additives and preservatives. It doesn’t seem to make a difference with my nail polish, as I use the same brand of nail polish and it lasts as long as any other brand has ever lasted for me. Great product!

Hands down the best top coat I have tried for making a mani last. Went from always chipping within a couple of days to manis consistently lasting over a week! It’s not quite as fast to dry as essie’s speed-setter, and maybe not quite as “plump” as gel-setter, but still pretty close to both and far more durable. And practically no shrinkage! My new holy grail.

Unfortunately it doesn’t dry fast enough. Not sure it elongated the polish wear.
