Overcomes diesel misfuel prevention devices
Thanks to G.L. Wright for the detailed dimensions. My new diesel car has a "misfuel prevention device" in the fuel tank filler neck that closes a flap to block the tank unless a nozzle of the correct diameter is inserted. That is obviously useful to stop one putting petrol into a diesel tank - but would be a major problem if I needed to add fuel from a fuel can. This plastic tubing (with a 25 mm outer diameter) is exactly the right size to open the car's misfuel flap and allow re-fuelling to take place from a fuel can. The 19 mm internal diameter is also exactly right to provide a tight fit for the spout of the jerry can. I have cut a six inch length of hosing and stuck it on the jerry can spout, thus restoring the possibility of refuelling from a fuel can. I hope never to need it, but it is good to have the option.

Please read the add as its for 1mt of pipe
Pipe is of good quality , however the picture implies that you get the whole reel for the given price where ad you're buying just 1mt of pipe , the add is misleading but I have to say its my fault not reading add properly be weary

Good quality hose.
Good quality hose. Received just over the 2m ordered. A bit stiff for the purpose I need it for (feeder for jet washer) but we'll see how it goes.

Everything you could want in a flexible clear braided hose!
Ordered this not for the usual intended purpose of a hose, but to provide extra chafe protection on the mooring lines on our yacht (by threading lines through the tubing wherever they run over a surface or cleat). It's everything you could want in a clear braided hose. Flexible yet strong, practical yet stylish! Additionally, I only ordered 2 metres, but they sent me just under 2.1m.... BONUS! 10/10 would order again!

Nothing startling but 19 or 20mm?
Always expensive in small quantity but cheapest found. It is what it says, almost!! Advertised as 20mm but delivery says 19mm. Either way it fitted coupler which assume is standard. Also by putting in boiling water for a few minutes it will stretch slightly so generally not an issue
