If these are 8W bulbs, equivalent to 60W incandescent, how come they have an energy rating of F?

Hi, thanks for your question. I, personally don’t have an answer, but I would suggest you googled your question. From what I’ve read it would seem that energy rating system is rather out of date and hasn’t caught up with leds. It could be that the particular bulbs you quote were tested some time ago and at that time they came out pretty well but have since be surpassed by newer versions. Electrical Engineering Stack Exchange.com has some good possible answers to your question.
