These scissors are really good and do exactly what they are meant to do. They are sharp enough to cut cleanly through hair without snagging or pulling, which makes a big difference when cutting your own hair at home. They are a good size and very easy to handle, even when doing more detailed work. I used them to do the butterfly haircut and they cut straight through my ponytail with no problem at all. I have long hair which I normally wear up in a bun. I am not a hairdresser but as my long hair is all the same length it is not hard to trim it if you have a decent pair of scissors. I also have a fringe which needs trimming frequently. I thought these scissors were excellent. They are sharp and easy to use and even an amateur like me can use them easily and successfully. Good value for money (much cheaper than going to a hairdresser!). Happy to recommend.
