I purchased this matte black American flag window decal for the rear center sliding glass panel on my 2019 Ram 1500, and it looks phenomenal. It is an incredibly high-quality, durable vinyl modification that completely transforms the look of the truck's back window. FLAWLESS VISUALS AND TROUBLE-FREE WINDOW OPERATION The matte black finish looks awesome. It creates a very clean appearance against the tint of the back window. The physical fitment was perfectly accurate to the dimensions of the Ram's sliding middle glass panel. A huge benefit is that the thickness of the vinyl does not interfere with the mechanical operation of the window at all. The glass still slides open and seals shut smoothly without catching, curling, or peeling up the edges of the sticker. DRY INSTALLATION TIPS The packaging arrived complete with a plastic squeegee tool to help push out the air bubbles. I opted for the dry installation method, which worked out well, though it can be a bit challenging. The hardest part is simply ensuring that you have the flag lined up perfectly straight before the adhesive makes contact with the glass. I highly recommend taking your time to tape it in place as a hinge before peeling the backing off. REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS AND DURABILITY From inside the cab, the solid matte black vinyl does block the rearview visibility slightly through that specific center pane. However, you are sticking an opaque graphic onto glass, so a minor reduction in view should absolutely be expected by any buyer. In terms of durability, the decal has held up brilliantly through the intense outdoor elements and has shown zero signs of peeling or cracking even after repeatedly running the truck through automatic car washes.
