I just painted my cabinets white with nickel finish handles and stainless appliances. I order the natural white. Has anyone used the natural white wi?

I just did Natural white over light beige laminate counters and I warn you it is not white. It is a warm cream almost. It looks so good but it doesn't look good with my white and grey cupboards and white appliances especially. Maybe if it didn't butt right up against white stove it would be OK. I have not put the top coat on yet and am considering purchasing the onyx fog color and making it gray.  I don't know if the light beige underneath changed the color but I have asked the company Daich Coatings Co. for advice. Hope this helps

How textured is this finish?  I am wondering if there is a way to get a nice smooth finish instead of bumpy.

Accepted Answer

We didn't like the bumpy texture, so we sanded it down after the application of the clear finish and then re-applied three layers of the clear coat. It's almost totally smooth now. I recommend extra sanding after the application of the stone step if you want a smooth finish.

Question 3

I have a white and grey kitchen, what countertop color would be best? Natural white? Oyster? Are both of those a cool white color or more ivory?

I just ordered the natural white ... and my kitchen will be white with light grey and navy.  This is an amazing product.  I used it on a rental property that had Pepto Bismal pink counters .... they are now a shade that looks much more like a grey/tan concrete... which is what I was looking for.  You won't regret using the product.  It's amazing.

Will this show the grout lines if put on a tile countertop, or will it fill them in?
