Very handy pocket sized locking slip joints I have used them so many times already it has been money well spent, I will be getting the 180 size next.

Really Gutted I haven’t bought a pair of these years ago!! Every time I seemed to do a job at home there is a need to undo something bigger than a traditional spanner set or socket set will accommodate. In this situation I opt for adjustables or mole grips, it’s never ideal especially where there is tight access but eventually it gets the job done. Been looking at these pump wrench’s for a while and wasn’t sure what were the good brands or sizes to go for, so did the normal research and Knipex seems to be the best of the best. I now have the 250 size @ £18.95 which I think is a great price and can say after completing a bathroom refit with these in my tool bag they are the way to go for home diy. After the bathroom refit this so far, has also proven to be the ideal size for home use. They are a pleasure to use and as with all tools that work well they have also been excellent nail removers I am sure a cheaper make or even a set at the same cost would have done the job but what I like is the slimness of the tool which I know in some circumstances will be critical and the added grip strength you feel in your hands. Add the positive review history as well and think I have a tool that will work painlessly for years to come and will probably be passed onto my lads. I don’t think you need a bigger size for home use but there maybe a need for a smaller pair (purely for access) for motor repairs.

Di questo brand possiedo già altre pinze a pappagallo e "pinze chiave" come li chiama Knipex, di varie dimensioni, e ritengo siano i migliori della categoria. Rispetto ad altre pinze a pappagallo, anche di fascia alta, ho notato che le Knipex hanno più presa. Ho voluto completare con questa da 300mm per i lavori più gravosi e perchè è la versione cromata più grande. Oltre ci sono solo le bonderizzate (quelle nere) che tendono ad arrugginire. Il costo è elevato, ho pagato meno della metà una pinza da 750mm in un negozio locale, ma ne vale la pena.
