Review: Sleep with ease with Pro Breeze 500ml Dehumidifier - Due to the positive reviews on desertcart regarding this Pro Breeze 500ml dehumidifier, I decided to buy two of these, as I have a fairly large bedroom and wasn't sure what the effective range was. My bedroom is 15ft square by 12ft high - I live in a Grade 2 building which was built in 1889, hence the high ceiling and looking at my windows, you'd think it was raining inside, due to the heavy condensation. Received these this afternoon, and set them up at 4pm and six hours later, already both Pro Breeze's have filtered the air and has got a few millimetres of water in them already, Compared to the cheap non-electric ones I bought from a large grocery store that takes two weeks what this Pro Breeze has done in six hours. I have placed one of these dehumidifiers on either side of the room, so when I lie in bed later, I'll hear the very slight humming noise in stereo lol. In all seriousness, they are extremely quiet, that even with two running at the same time, won't impair your ability to fall asleep. I am very impressed with these, that I am considering buying a third but for my combined bathroom/toilet but I am a little apprehensive, due to the fact it may filter the water in my toilet, instead of out of the air. (I'll try one of the bedroom ones first in the bathroom/toilet to see what happens) I certainly would recommend this Pro Breeze 500ml dehumidifier - Small, effective and a great price :-) Update: November 1st, 2017. As stated above, the two I bought, I have in my bedroom and from reading specs from similar dehumidifiers of this size, these have an effective area of between 10-20sqm and as my bedroom is 15x15ft, that is just under 25sqm and hence why they are on both sides of my bedroom, for efficiency and not to overwork and overheat them. These dehumidifiers are very effective and for the first time, I can open my blinds and could see out of my windows and not the usual, heavy condensation on my windows. So, I've just ordered a third for use in my bathroom on a same-day delivery with Prime.
Review: Great dehumidifier, (for a year) - It seems to be working really well. We have a very damp pantry and it's been quietly collecting water every day now. It was extremely easy to set up (literally plugged it in and pressed the power button) and equally easy to empty the water tank. When I first plugged it in I kept checking it to see if it was working and when nothing had been collected after 24 hours I was concerned. I turned it off and looked around it to see if I didn't do something, but couldn't see anything so turned it back on and left it for another day. I have no idea if I magically did something or if it just needs a day to get started, but since then there's been water added to the tank every day. The only thing I'm unsure about is how to clean the tank. I received an email saying it was a good idea to clean it once a month to stop bacterial growth, but as far as I can tell you can't open the lid. (To empty the tank you pull a little plug like the ones in little water guns) I don't want to force it! I'm very pleased with how well it's working, how quiet it is, how easy it was too get it going, and definitely the price!! UPDATE: I had it for a year and absolutely loved it. It was a little work horse in our very damp pantry. However, it just stopped working one day. I hadn't emptied it and it stopped automatically. But when I emptied the tank, it just wouldn't start up again. desertcart is refunding me and the customer service was great, but to be honest, I just want my dehumidifier back! Which is why, even though it broke, I don't want to give it less stars than 4. I'm probably going to just buy another one

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this be large enough to help dry the air in a conservatory where I dry clothes?**
A: Yes as I use this in my conservatory  for the same thing, keeps the air dry , my conservatory is 16x 14 it's very good have it on all the time. Hope that helps

**Q: How is this powered?**
A: The supplier should be clearer about the power supply specifications for this. What I read is it has a five foot mains cable. 

If so, it's not suitable for use in a UK bathroom and should not be advertised as such.

**Q: Can it be used in a bathroom?**
A: We have two of the smaller 500 ml ones, both in bathrooms.  They have the adaptor plugged in the wall outside the bathrooms and the 9V wire going under the door around the doorpost.  This avoids having mains wires going into the bathroom.  They do a wonderful job, after bath or shower everything is wet and a few hours later it's all dry again.  They even cope with wet (spun-dry) washing, but slowly.  That's why I'm looking at the 1500 models.

**Q: How long is the mains lead on the unit.**
A: They must have changed the design. Mine has the power supply built-in and the lead connects to it with a small 2-pin plug, not a large kettle plug.
