WMF 6093109502 Pressure Cooker Sealing Cover for Cooking Valve Silver

We have had three WMF Pressure cookers for at least six years and all was well, they are used at least once a day, so, good quality. Then we noticed there was steam coming out from under the pressure valve, thought it must be a bit of stuck food and washed it thoroughly. No good. Then my Husband looked at the sealing cover, which comes out easily, and there was a tiny tear in it underneath. So, now the chore of trying to find a replacement, but, no chore, after all. Thanks to wonderful Amazon, I found them straight away. When they arrived, fingers crossed that they were the right ones but no trouble, the were. These will fit the Perfect and Perfect Plus Cookers.

I wondered if this might be difficult to fit. In practice it took about 10 seconds. Fits perfectly. Great spare part.

Identified fault with WMF pressure cooker (superb & thoroughly recommended, fair wear and tear onpressure component after 15 years of use). Tried bodging with gaffer tape (100 mile an hour tape in US), with some degree of success. Bought this and fitted (family not entirely keen on surprise bits of tape in their stews, really!). Easy fit, OEM part so as robust as original. Thoroughly recommended extending useful life of original purchase.

My cooker lost the pressure and on closer look I found that the problem. It was easy to find the sealing cover on amazon just by the product number. And as always the product arrived promptly.
