Culligan CUW4 Replaces Whirlpool (EDR4RXD1, WHR4RXD1, KAD4RXD1) Water Filter 4 | CUW4 Refrigerator Water Filter | Replace Every 6 Months | Pack of 1

Description

Culligan’s water filtration systems have improved water quality for thousands of families worldwide. Culligan filters reduce up to 50+ impurities including lead, asbestos, mercury, chlorine taste & odor, 8 pharmaceuticals, and cysts*. Culligan filters reduce chlorine taste & odor for better tasting water and ice. They provide safter, purer water by also reducing select pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, atenolol, and trimethoprim. Additionally, most Culligan filters reduce the presence of illness-causing, waterborne parasites, like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, helping you stay healthy when you hydrate. Culligan filters have an activated carbon cartridge that absorbs the carbon-based VOCs (volatile organic compounds) as they pass through the filter, resulting in better water. Culligan filters provide a compatible refrigerator fit that’s easy to install and replace every 6 months. Culligan filters are certified by IAPMO R&T against NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 401 for the reduction of claims specified in the performance data sheet*. * For complete list of Culligan filters and impurities reduced, see manufacturer's performance data sheet or website for full contaminant reduction information. Substances reduced are not necessarily in all users’ water. Review: Water 💦 tastes better - Whatever media they use either adds or removes something in my water that others don't. The result is great tasting water and ice! Review: Improved Water Taste and My Ice Maker Works - While I wish filters overall cost a bit less, this filter seems to be a fair price and performs the best. So certainly the best bang for the buck. I've tried other filters and brands, but this does the best of them all for my Whirlpool fridge. It improved the taste of my water removing whatever was there before. It tastes nearly as good as RO/bottled water if not better in some cases. Obviously water quality depends on your source and location, so your mileage may vary. As a side note, it fixed my ice maker PSI and it started making ice consistently. Which I suppose speaks to the quality of the filter as well. It filters well while not terribly restricting water flow. I'll be buying more in the future. If it goes on sale, I'm stocking up.
